- Hey everyone! I am back with a video for the first time in like 2 years! Thank you to everyone that followed me and then i went on a hiatus. UA-cam is hard. Requires a lot more time than I expected. Cheers to starting the year off right. Like and subscribe! I hope you enjoy this one. I put a bit more effort into this than previous videos.
I will update with time cues later on.

We have similar setups, I have a Bianca, Weber shaker and filters (with cheap Amazon walnut filter holder), Niche Zero with custom walnut, Weber looking glass, Force tamper etc etc.
I don’t use a puck top screen though, and noticed your machine handle sounds a little squeaky, probably due to lack of coffee oil getting up there.
Do you lube with molykote at all? Mine isn’t that squeaky but I’m coming up to 3 years and thinking of lubing it anyway.
I haven't lubed it at all! I actually just had to replace my paddle assembly. (Spring and everything from the top down to the solenoid escape).
I'm also a bit past 3 years. Be prepared. Some maintenance is coming your way
@@QuinCarterI actually blew last 3 years in October now that I look it up. I’ve done the 2 pressure valves. What were the solenoid symptoms?
Oh and how do you find the Weber basket vs VST or stock? I haven’t tried blooming, you prefer that to lever profile?
I personally like the Weber basket flavors I get over the other. I have a VST and a Stock. I especially like the Weber basket on lighter roasts.
This coffee is super light. Last week I was on a Geisha. The blooming espresso profile is pretty forgiving when it comes to lighter coffees. I use it on my flair too. The "lever profile" is kinda subjective but it's my secondary option. A typical 9 bar shot isn't very fun. We have a paddle! We should use them! 😊
Oooh coffee. I like coffee. You make coffee. We can be friends.
@@benjaminkelly27 done! Thanks for watching!
Before pouring to the cup, why do you pour away a little of the steam milk?
My foam was a bit too thick so I didn't want my first part of my pour to be all foam. You see it in shops a lot where they will do that and pour into the milk pitcher cleaner
@ sorry. I use a spoon to scoop out the foam because my foam is always on top. I am new to frothing and I am always have a blob of foam on top.
@求生净土 that's an option! I like to do a little dump off the top. Not too much. Sometimes helps. You don't always need to do that.
@@QuinCarter also if I find the the foam is like a blob can I pour in a second pitcher and back to the original pitcher will the milk be more homogeneous? Not no blob ++
@求生净土 yep you can! That does help
also remove the plastic sticker obviously..
@@dr.angerous what plastic sticker are you talking about? 😅 I've had the machine 3 and 1/2 years
@@QuinCarter caution hot sticker, but its probably cooked in, depends how often it was turned on
@dr.angerous I'm going to keep that on. I have kids. Knowing her, she'll just walk by and touch anything 🎄
please lube your lever, its part of the regular maintenance.
@@dr.angerous on it already! It'll be done by the next video!
