Paula, I have been listening to your podcasts for a few months (binge-listening on a daily basis for a few weeks now) and I have to say that this episode was one of my favourites! It was so refreshing for me to hear Vicki's perspective. I live in Canada now, but I was born in Poland and immigrated here with my parents when I was 2.5 years old. My parents separated, my father passed away, and it has been just my mom and I ever since. I always thought I'd end up completely alone in my old age, since I don't have kids, I won't have any grandkids, and I'm an only child. It gives me hope and inspiration that Vicki is living with so much purpose and connection, despite not having close family around. There were so many good take-aways in this episode. Thinking about financial INTERdependence doesn't feel so scary. There is much more I could say but I'll leave it at that. Big thank you!
Wow! Super excellent pod cast. The comcept of financial interdependence is one of the most acute one I have ever hear about. The feeling we don't need help and the fact that your FI happiness depends on your ability to develop social relationships in your community is so paramount.
I am so touched by this interview! My mouth stood open, when you were asking about the cat. I knew, god or life was speaking to me, when Vicki was responding, as I am having a sick cat and I dont know, how I could ever let her go. I am courious about the little book she read about passing animals? I could not find it.. Anyway, thank your for the great content full of wisdom, warmth and beauty! Greetings from Austria 🤗❤️
What a wisdom packed podcast Paula ..I have been following you for quite a while and I must say you never never fail to mesmerize me with your knowledge...your money or life has definitely changed my life for bliss...can't thank you enough Vicki...
Wow. Loving the focus on human relational wealth. Seems so many people are like $$$$$$$$, though who w really thinks about the twilight years? Loving it! Thanks!!!
I lost happiness of helping my family though. I dont seems to get any satisfaction of giving them financial aid. As ive been doing it since i was on my 20s and i am now 45 and i didnt see any changes in their life and i feel like a failure instead...

These commercial breaks suck. Don‘t you earn enough money from your real estate?
Cand. med. Silke Rosenbusch she just wants even more money? It's never "enough" for some ppl
