Definitely been around alot longer than 5 years. I hit in in 2006-7 and the guy who showed me was a late 90's state champ. So its been around for a minute. But Definitely more popular now. Back when I hit it I had several refs who wouldn't count back points because they didn't know I had control.
I don't like when coaches make up their own names for moves that already have a name. I taught the hazard tilt to a room at Tucson high and the headcoach said I like that from now on its the badger roll....wtf
Hey some coaches are just fucking annoying like this but our team had separate names so that when our coach screamed them during a match the other kid didn't immediately counter
no cause if hes coaching you and is screaming the name of the move, now everyone knows what coach wants u to do and if u do it they see it coming, so they try to have a code language for their team, for purposes of sideline communication
I’ve seen this hit in some pretty high level high school tourneys actually. One of my kids made it to state on this move down 3 points with 20 seconds left in match.
