Hey Guys,
This is Mayank and this vlog is a full campus tour of Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA. I graduated from Northeastern University with a Master’s in Computer Science. In this video, we will be roaming around the campus of NEU Boston and have a look at different academic buildings, facilities, and services available for the students of Northeastern University.
In this video we are covering the following places in detail apart from briefly looking at a lot of other places:
- Khoury College of Computer Sciences
- Centennial Circle or Centennial Common
- Ruggles Station or Orange line T stop
- Snell Library
- Curry Student Center
- Krentzman Quadrangle
- Northeastern University green line T stop
- Marino Center where we have NEU’s gym and a grocery store called Wollaston’s Market

My Uncle is in the NU Hockey Hall of Fame and my nephew Jared currently (2021)play baseball there. It's an amazing college with lots to offer.

Hello! I was wondering if you knew where most Psychology classes at NU happen? I think they're either in the ISEC building or spread out throughout halls, but I don't know for sure. Do you happen to know?
Hey! I don't know that exactly but in general, classes are spread out across the campus, for my MS CS program, the classes were happening all over the campus in random buildings, there wasn't really a trend. I think it mostly depends on the availability and the professor's schedule. Although once decided, the location remains pretty much the same the whole semester.

I loved "Snail" library when i attended...better than Snell...otherwise a good assessment and information for a family member who will also be going...

Is it good to pursue masters in project management in Northeastern University?
The program is great but you'll have to make sure that you have the right amount of experience to crack project management internships and full time. Do some research by looking at relevant jobs on LinkedIn and assess if you will be eligible to get those post the program completion.

Canada provides better future to International students. I did my Masters in CS at the University of British Columbia and
I am a Canadian Citizen now. Canadian citizens can work in the USA on TN under NAFTA. I am working for a US company
in Vancouver and in San Francisco. Also, We have free medical in Canada. My friends who went to USA in the same year are
still on H1B and fighting for green card in the US. Also, More Canadian citizens on TN in the USA are getting green card than
H1B holders because green card issuance is unlimited for Canadian citizens. There is no quota for Canadian Citizens.

Hey! I think it's a good program with decent course choices. You'll also have good internship opportunities as NEU CS department tries hard to get every student a co-op/ intern and Cyber Sec falls under the same department. Hope it helps, let me know if you have any specific question.

You'll definitely get an on-campus job from second semester if you try hard enough. There are on-campus cafes, restaurants, library, RSO, etc. that hire students frequently.

What Gre score needed for ms in cs?
Hi! It totally depends on the university you're targetting. For Northeastern, most of the MS in CS students will have a GRE score of 315+. Although, I believe they look for overall profile and I have seen students at NEU MS in CS program with a lower score but great research work and experience in their profile.
