Doing a Motörhead ranking would be an impossible task for me. My ranking would be 1. Motörhead discography. Done.

Destruction Comeback was "All Hell Breaks Loose". Followed by "The Antichrist".

Tapping is my #1, totally crushing death/thrash, the antithesis of the Black Album, The Ritual and so forth. Also love the 2 ones everybody else hates: Get What You Deserve is so punkish and fun - Masquerade In Blood is doomier and darker, both featuring Atomic Steif's outstanding drumming. Contrarian opinion on the highly-regarded 00s stuff, I find Bernemann and Bobby to be very generic players, and the war themes become tiring. Blackfire made a welcome return to the band on the latest album.

The only real German thrash I've gotten into is kreator, I never listened to Sodom but ill watch because you guys are entertaining plus educational

  • @joesantiago9062

Sodom is always a band I’ve meant to dig deeper into. I’m a few albums in and man I’ve been missing out. Great video and recommendations as always!

  • @kowalsolosolo

I will never understand why so many people put Voivod in a thrash metal category.

  • @infernicide666

Totally agree with Pete on Get What You Deserve! It’s not terrible but yeah the crossover thing doesn’t do much for me. That 84-92 era is the best after that it was never quite as good. M-16 was also a pretty boring album imo. I need to hear more of these more recent albums though. I’ve only heard parts of them.

  • @damienfoyer

Very cool ranking gents, thank you.

Love SoT, some guests could use some decent cam/mic equipment though. Ralphs video and sound are absolutely terrible, like a 10 year old smartphone. 50 bucks gets you some decent stuff. Volume level is also all over the place due to this

About time taking on Sodom! Crazy good discography, with B.O.D. as my favourite, which was the time I got into them. But could someone treat the count Ralfus to a microphone, a camera and maybe throw in an internet connection as well, so he doesn't have to record himself on a Nokia 3310?

  • @jbrewerize

    Perfect trio for this show.

  • @darrylamaki2470

Great show definitely gonna pick up some Sodom cds today..

  • @kevinm5957

Thanks for doing this. Always appreciate the more extreme metal content. Just bought Decision Day. Great album. I also like 40 Years at War where they re-recorded one song from each album as a new compilation.

  • @patrickmurphy4297

...I knew this one was coming...it's cool to finally see it. Good job. A truly amazing band...and I echo everyone below with the choice of your co-hosts for this one. I missed Ryan on the latest "Review Crew," by the way...I wish he were a "constant."

  • @louderthanlife

Such an iconic, legendary thrash band. I loved them then and I love them now. Overall, a pretty consistent catalog.

  • @darrensutherland4399

    Awesome show guys🔥🔥

  • @chrissteiner4941

Sodom mascot is called "Knarrenheinz". Great show again guys.

  • @oldschoolmetal9905

Thank You 3 great guys for this awesome vid.

  • @joerocks7381

Definitely the right guys to do this ranking 🤘

  • @jasonb328

Their recent 40 Years at War re-recording is really good. Awesome cover with their 2 mascots fighting each other. They didn’t go for the “hits” and went with more unexpected song choices. However, I’m glad the chose to re-record Better Off Dead (title track) since that song absolutely rules. Thanks for doing this, guys!
