Into the sunset she goes.... Beautiful and heartbreaking 😢💔 RIP to all the tragic souls who sailed on her and ventured down to see her never to return 😔😟
It feels sad to watch this. This was supposed to be the culmination of years of work and the prelude to a long and successful career. Instead, less than two weeks later, it was all gone.
@@nager1997 I don't agree at all, the ship has had a very long and almost infinitely successful career. I would even go so far as to say it is unmatched in its fame. Longer than Olympic. Longer than Britannic. More well known and held in higher esteem than both. People even want to build a second one.

How she dominates the skyline in this animation is beyond amazing. Amazing work to Jack and the THG Team, we can’t wait for April 14th!!

Her sea trials what a video thanks so much. The anniversary is fast approaching 112 years ago we lost her April 15th 1912! RIP TO ALL OF THE LOST SOULS. Thanks so much at the end to hear the ship in the ocean. So nice to hear the water.
What I appreciate about these renderings is that they don't just recreate the ship, and that in itself is a great job, but also the editing, the choice of shots, of certain angles, some camera movements that seem like caressing the ship, others in which it seems to come to life, like the famous scene of "Take her to the sea Mr. Murdoch", I don't know if I get the idea. Beautiful work! ❤
3:25 Looks like a view from the dry dock. Well worth a visit if you ever go to Belfast just to get some idea of the sheer size of the Olympic class ships, as you can walk around inside the bottom of it.
I cannot give you guys at Honor & Glory enough credit for this, this is truly amazing to actually witness Titanic getting ready for her maiden voyage at the exact same time 112 years back technology at it finest I'm truly grateful 🙏🏻 Titanic has always captivated me In a sense of awe, really looking forward to spending weeks on end in this simulator when it's finished.

That was beautiful. The animation and music were both stunning. Almost like being there. So sad to think that less than 2 weeks later this gorgeous ship would be at the bottom of the Atlantic.
Big congrats to Jack, Kyle and Tino and anyone else who worked on this! Superb work 👌 😍 I felt a wave of emotion watching this and when Titanic went out sea at the end it was just awe inspiring, all that vast ocean and sea before her. 👏
These recreations fantastic, im imagining a vr session on titanic enjoying the sun with a book in my hand, Thg i hope this will all come to fruition as so much amazing work has gone into this.❤
I don't know much about boats and ships but when I saw those little ones I just realised why they call them Tug boats hahaha This was such a beautiful animation, and great timing too as I've just started my phase of looking at Titanic stuff again
The old Queen's Island looks so different from modern day Titanic Quarter, yet, still, everything is so familiar. Fantastic video, absolutely stunning 👏
Indeed. Titanic Attractions pretending to be museums, Titanic Hotels, Titanic Distilleries… You would be forgiven for forgetting that H&W also built successful ships where people didn’t die. But Belfast wouldn’t want the tourists thinking of that when there is money to be made.
The older I get, the more I find it unbelievable and horrifying that a brand new ship sank on its maiden voyage. I really do hope if we get to see 'What if... Titanic survived well into the 30s' video's or a remake of the Empress of Ireland sinking. Those animations are made so well!
The trouble with "what ifs" is that with Olympic you see her full and successful life, which would have ended up with scrapping in the 1930s and likely now being largely forgotten. Her claim to fame would be as the biggest ship for about a year until Imperator came along. Fitting into maritime history alongside other White Star ships like Oceanic and "The Big Four". On the other hand, there are many other unknowns. What would she have done during the war (hospital ship, transport), and would she have survived? Perhaps it's HMHS Titanic that sinks in the Mediterranean, and Britannic spends the war unfinished at Belfast before having a long career.
@@ChrisCooper312 It's the central paradox of Titanic's fame - had she survived, she would be just a footnote in the evolution of the ocean liner - a form of transport which itself has been relegated to history (cruise liners are the successors to, but definitely are not themselves, ocean liners). The fact she sank and the legacy of that night guarantees she will be remembered, even though she wasn't particularly special (apart from being the largest ship in the world, until Imperator a year or two later, as you point out). The Titanic was certainly not the 'pinnacle' of ocean liner technology, yet her loss means she has become the 'definitive' ocean liner.
It’s definitely a two sided argument.on one side, Titanic would be largely forgotten, and maritime safety may be more or less the same as the time of her sinking. The other end is, if she hadn’t have sunk, a ship could have sunk in the world war, possibly killing yet more because the changes to maritime law didn’t exist because the Titanic didn’t sink. It’s a very difficult question to fathom the importance of these events and that they had to happen.
Titanic HG does have it's problems however if or when it's completed it will be the most outstanding historical digital recreations I have ever seen. I don't think anything will beat this.
Another absolutely beautiful rendition. There were a few of the scenes I found very picturesque and inspiring, but the last one showing her in the vast expanse of the ocean was stunning. Thanks again for another fantastic historic recreation!

Not to be a negative Nelly here, but where is the actual sea trial? That would have been epic to see a recreation of what it WOULD have been like for her. You guys do AMAZING work, I love it! Strange that, despite Olympic's sea trials lasting 2 days, Titanic's sea trials lasted only half a day. And also, Titanic never went out into the open sea and just stayed in the channel. Of course there will be people who will dispute this.
Olympic was the first in her class, whereas Titanic was the second and both were nearly identical, especially in regards to their propelling machinery, so they probably knew a lot about how she would handle
The Titanic’s brief sea trials were meant to be enough to satisfy the builders and owners. Since her nearly identical older sister Olympic’s performance was good, it was assumed that the Titanic’s would be as well. Plus the White Star Line could not afford to have the Titanic miss her scheduled sailing day of April 10, 1912.
@@winlee4884 They don't cut short sea trials no matter what the excuse is. Each ship has to undergo the same trials even if they are nearly identical. And also, Titanic's maiden voyage was originally scheduled for a later date but they brought it forward for the 10th, yet there was a coal strike on where many vessels couldn't go anywhere out of port.
Beautifully animated, amazing work. Looking forward to the full sea trials video! Are the proportions correct in the scene starting at 4:08 though? The funnels look almost comically large compared to the hull there. Maybe it's just an optical illusion due to the ship's angle.

Set to join her sister Olympic on the open seas as two of the grandest queens to set sail, both seem primed to enjoy long, successful careers ahead of them with a third sister currently in the works, soon on the way as well. Mankind has accomplished yet another remarkable engineering feat, and the anticipation of what we will achieve next further rises as Titanic’s engines finally roar to life.
It is Titanic month all right although she was originally scheduled to sail on March 20th.
