if you think they will ban halq/aurora, they wont. cupid pitch/dracossack would probably be limited. they only ban cards if it is their last option look at what they did to stop dd dynamite ftk.
But remember what is the card that is always with them and is only a rare so people won't get mad for wasting resources if it gets banned...yeah, it's 001...he will pay for their sins lmaaao
My rule if my opponent special summon a tuner in the field and i have ash or EV or imperm im or any handtrap im gonna wait for Halq to be link that always saves me a lot
I've been saying this since it was known as "needlefiber." Halq *NEEDS* to be banned. It's the sole cause of so many FTK/OTK strategies, along with building a board of 8 negates turn 1, so you can negate every card your opponent plays on their first turn. Halq is too degenerate.
How many of those use Auroradon? Pretty much every single one. Halqi has a lot unique uses the interaction between deskbot and aurordon is what creates the degeneracy
i usually agree in going straigth for the problem card, but for this, im not sure halqi is as much of a problem as Auroradon, i think both are equally important and without either of them the comboline just wont work, however, i think halqi is a better card to keep and that its actually useful in strong but not degenerate lines (igknigth is the only one that comes to mind), i dont mind if both of them get banned, but i think Halqi is more of a loss for most decks.
@@TJKuro halq is generic Auroradon is not the only decks that abuse it are machine decks and they dont combo even without it halq can still make scythe lock + barrone so im gonna go with halq being the problem by proxy of being way to generic and having more versatility
I believe that I know the ONLY WAY to beat this combo. Once the opponent summons the Crystron Halqifibrax, surrender. In that way you lose the duel but not to the combo. 😁
I really like the ban on auroradon in the TCG, but halq has lived way more than he has any right to. And I do like some quirky plays you can make with it, but as long as there is a decent tuner he is a problem
I just came back to yu gi oh after 10 years. I made a blue-eyes deck that was doing good against solo. Then I played rank and got to silver tier fast...then I noticed my deck is trash. Every deck I play against win in under 5 turns. Every deck have 100 negate effects. Every deck can get their monsters to 4k+ atk. Every deck can get the cards they want instantly. Meanwhile if I still have a 70% I might get a bad hand. The thing is I like being creative and making a unique deck. But I don't feel like reading thousands of new cards I've never heard of. This is why no new players are joing/staying
I tried to make that deck as consistant as possible and strong going second. Cutting the combo chance to 90% and playing cards like crossout called ash or droplets. This deck still dies to 1 handtrap if you not drawing crossout or called in most cases you just lose to ash. You always dies to something you cant cover and its really rare you win going second if you dont draw the perfect hand for this opponent. Losing with that deck feels stupid , wining with that deck even more and Its mostly about wining the coinflip wining the game the deck is really unfun to play and abusing that is overall not efficient enough to match real meta decks.
No deck can reach 30 negates and also if you’re allowing them to reach anywhere close to that high of negates then that’s you’re own fault. Also, Konami never makes a card with the intention of it causing ftk’s. Also also, Magic has infinites in them that do way worse so Yugioh isn’t even the only offender
Just a disclaimer for yall thinking this will be too OP, it is incredibly EASY to disrupt the combo, play any hand trap, all your hand traps, stop the halq-don combo and they're done. Use Nibiru, imperm, ash, even maxx c, also start using GHOST OGRE! In a month we'll get the adventure engine and ghost ogre will save your life against this FTK and the adventure cards!
@@zanecallisto4169 You realise not every deck can afford to play 6+ hand traps right? I play Endymion and the deck can just barely afford to run Called, and that's only because it's a spell.
@@TrueGamer22887 Even more reason why FTK decks on ladder are more meaningless than in tournament. In a tournament, a viable FTK deck can randomly smoke someone and delete them out of top cut. In Master Duel, it's literally just a meaningless loss because any positive winrate will drag your rank up. Losing a random game because of draw is perfectly expected. People see 99.9% of drawing a single line as a big benefit, but it's more like a 25% winrate. 50% chance of going second, 50% chance of your opponent having 1 handtrap if they run 6 (in a world were most decks run more). Literally no FTK deck is scary. They're just a coinflip since if you can successfully disrupt them once, they get wiped because they don't have a single gameplan outside of FTK.
Still susceptible to Nibiru, Imperm or handtraps that can interrupt the Halq + Aurora build up. But still this adds up to the long collection of ftk decks that are swarming the meta currently. *sigh*.
If this deck's ftk gets too popular I might consider just running 3 Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood to avoid getting burned at this point I don't care if it bricks my hand
maybe konami will be sensible and ban auroradon but knowing how the master duel banlist went last time and they skirted the problem cards, they will probably ban coltwing and call it a day
seems like at least 50% of the time your halq will get ashed / impermed / veilered, people always seem to have at least 1 of them (or they open max c and draw into them)
I just made this deck and had the gozuki start and ftk'd through a maxxx c challenge, just a heads up from gozuki start it leaves them with 1 card in deck, I've saved the replay because it was so funny
I think konami needs to get rid of both halq and auroradawn, i am sick of seeimg these cards almost every where, even ftks are not fun any more because of them
I like how people in the comments are like "but if your opponent has Ash Blossom or Nibiru the combo fails," as though: A. that's not the case whenever a normal person's opponent has Ash Blossom or Nibiru anyway, and B. the fact decks require you to cut cards in your deck, JUST to MAYBE draw your handtrap outs in order to prevent this kind of cancer, is exactly the second half of the problem.
This is cool but definitely not as game breaking as its hyped up to being. If you don’t have the speed burst dragon in hand then you have to correctly call the coin toss. If you don’t make room for called by, then any hand trap ends this, because ash, veiled and imperm all stop Halc. Even d.d crow works if you banish the colt wing. So just open the hand trap...
Is not that expensive cause some of the cards are standard for most players so maybe u need 6 more ur cards. God I can see all the bots again. So if I dont lose to swordsoul I will lose against a human or bot one turn kill.
I don't even mine that people could 99.9% First Turn Kill me. What bother me is that I can go to Cancún for may vacation, come back and they're still not done summoning. This is what kill Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel for me.
so that what I tried to build go figure... the new end was just too great for having two unstopped monsters on the first turn and for Performapal version with the lovely Beyond the Pendulum even with cupid giving damage to you opponents to loosed it effect Beyond the Pendulum gave you enough damages so that end would still be unstoppable {also the reason why I ask for mecha to get ban and not crytron this must had been why though xD thanks Kazuki Takahashi and konami also the people that raed mine paper that i was trying to make into a book but got scared and lost instead after that ... } Mark Denzel Matzke I wonder if that make any sense should had gone for the FTK of well ...
Can you make the second cupid pitch a level 5 in order to make Bishbaalkin with Pitch and Maiden opening amother FTK line? I think there is enough room in ED for Geonet and the Chronomaly
Still dont understand why black garden is still legal the only decks that run it are ftks halq and arouradon are stong but shouldn't be banned they help rouge and machine decks become competitive
I can never figure out why Konami doesn’t have a summon limit per turn. Makes the game way more interesting to see what players can come up with in like a 3-4 special summon limite per turn.
@@tootaroni_chan that’s one card bro. It would be a whole lot more fun not having to wait for your opponent to finish after 5 minutes of summoning and just for you not to play the game. That’s 100% boring.

if you think they will ban halq/aurora, they wont.
cupid pitch/dracossack would probably be limited.
they only ban cards if it is their last option
look at what they did to stop dd dynamite ftk.
Aurora got banned in the tcg recently
@@TheMightofDab I can point at 10 other cards that are banned in the tcg
@@Brukin. congratulations; you know what the next MD banlist will probably look like then
Its honestly horrible when you lose by things like these but I gotta give props to the people who comes up with these strategies.
Halq and auroradon literally everywhere lmao
But remember what is the card that is always with them and is only a rare so people won't get mad for wasting resources if it gets banned...yeah, it's 001...he will pay for their sins lmaaao
@@aerenntyne1099 ah yes, forgot to mention the holy trinity of 001, jet synchron and o-lion
Halq, deskbot 001, o lion, auroradon are always together part of some crazy bullshit. My bad I see you used colt wing lol. But point still Stands
Halq just needs a ban, that's it.
@@Chestyfriend Nah you would destroy syncro decks, banning auroradon is better
@@juampisito halq ban is 2 birds with one stone
Synchro decks can survive well enough without halq. Ban that crap.
@@juampisito OCG just proved me right, they're banning Halq. Wish MD would ban UR cards, but it probably won't happen sadly.
My rule if my opponent special summon a tuner in the field and i have ash or EV or imperm im or any handtrap im gonna wait for Halq to be link that always saves me a lot
I typically stop auroradon
Now there's no excuse to not keep a copy of Nib, effect veiler, and Imperm in any deck.
This isnt yu gi oh, this is solitare...
yugioh the game where it's ether 1 turn kill or 25 turns of kuriboh humiliation.
I've been saying this since it was known as "needlefiber."
Halq *NEEDS* to be banned.
Banning Auroradon is good enough to be honest.
Auroradon is the problem, not Halq. Halq isn’t the one giving you a +5
i usually agree in going straigth for the problem card, but for this, im not sure halqi is as much of a problem as Auroradon, i think both are equally important and without either of them the comboline just wont work, however, i think halqi is a better card to keep and that its actually useful in strong but not degenerate lines (igknigth is the only one that comes to mind), i dont mind if both of them get banned, but i think Halqi is more of a loss for most decks.
@@TJKuro halq is generic Auroradon is not the only decks that abuse it are machine decks and they dont combo even without it halq can still make scythe lock + barrone so im gonna go with halq being the problem by proxy of being way to generic and having more versatility
main deck token colector just get stronger and stronger bc of Aurodon and SS
I believe that I know the ONLY WAY to beat this combo. Once the opponent summons the Crystron Halqifibrax, surrender. In that way you lose the duel but not to the combo. 😁
Can we get a full list of the card in this deck??
I really like the ban on auroradon in the TCG, but halq has lived way more than he has any right to. And I do like some quirky plays you can make with it, but as long as there is a decent tuner he is a problem
If Gozuki’s effect got Ash Blossomed at the start, no combo lol
From what i seen a lot of this combos can be stop by just ash the halq , so im always Wondering what other stuff can i do
@@TheVictv1 right. These long combos are so fragile most times.
Konami: a card game with one card 3 hours long combo that allows you to FTK or have 30 negates will be so fun
🤦🏼♂️
No deck can reach 30 negates and also if you’re allowing them to reach anywhere close to that high of negates then that’s you’re own fault. Also, Konami never makes a card with the intention of it causing ftk’s. Also also, Magic has infinites in them that do way worse so Yugioh isn’t even the only offender
I need to craft a 3rd imperm and a second nib if this becomes the next igknight/pk rhongo
Dotodoya will happy with this card
Just a disclaimer for yall thinking this will be too OP, it is incredibly EASY to disrupt the combo, play any hand trap, all your hand traps, stop the halq-don combo and they're done. Use Nibiru, imperm, ash, even maxx c, also start using GHOST OGRE! In a month we'll get the adventure engine and ghost ogre will save your life against this FTK and the adventure cards!
draw the out daaawwgg...TCG moto I guess. :XD
"JUST DRAW THE OUT BRUUUHHH. PLAY 40 HANDTRAPS TO COUNTER THIS DECK BRUUHH"
"it's easy to deal with this deck, you just need to run 12 hand traps in your deck"
@@sonnguyen-iv7gv to be fair if your not running atleast imperm ash and max c then thats on you
@@zanecallisto4169 You realise not every deck can afford to play 6+ hand traps right? I play Endymion and the deck can just barely afford to run Called, and that's only because it's a spell.
There is so many OTK. this one is no longer available. Pendulum magician, Dino, Dryton, Isolde and etc.
Bro you working on Exorsister's o.o? Also that Deck looks perfectly balanced kekw
To describe this deck in One word: Broken. If Konami didn't react to this, then the game is screwed.
They wouldn't, because if this deck is viable it would've seen tournament play.
@@mitsunekolucky671 But the cards Dkayed is using, just released yesterday
@@mitsunekolucky671 what tournaments? Did one happen today or something?
FTK that cannot be stopped by handtrap is broken. Otherwise , it just stay as toxic rather than broken
I really hope that people won't start using bots with this deck
Consistent ftks are common but handtraps keep them in check. 3 axis brave is the most "handtrap proof ftk" right now.
3 axis brave?
Still susceptible to Nibiru, Imperm or handtraps that can interrupt the Halq + Aurora build up. But still this adds up to the long collection of ftk decks that are swarming the meta currently. *sigh*.
If this deck's ftk gets too popular I might consider just running 3 Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood to avoid getting burned at this point I don't care if it bricks my hand
I think this is the 1st time i see some1 use dracosack and 001 interraction. Kinda cool.
And the easiest and least impactful way to fix this is to simply errata Deskbot 01 to either hard OPT, or exclude tokens from the condition
maybe konami will be sensible and ban auroradon but knowing how the master duel banlist went last time and they skirted the problem cards, they will probably ban coltwing and call it a day
seems like at least 50% of the time your halq will get ashed / impermed / veilered, people always seem to have at least 1 of them (or they open max c and draw into them)
Add in machine extenders and they still may get it off but other than 1 for one I really don't know what they could use
Dang all that just for one time wizard of tomorrow. Nah I'll pass on that one.
I just made this deck and had the gozuki start and ftk'd through a maxxx c challenge, just a heads up from gozuki start it leaves them with 1 card in deck, I've saved the replay because it was so funny
Only 99% if your opponent draws 0 hand traps
i really wish i saved duels more often i beat this thing this morning with only 100 lp left
I think konami needs to get rid of both halq and auroradawn, i am sick of seeimg these cards almost every where, even ftks are not fun any more because of them
Ftk
ever being fun
Pick one.
if cards like deskbot 001 was once per turn, it would not be so crazy. but halq is just too good in many of these crazy combo.
I like how people in the comments are like "but if your opponent has Ash Blossom or Nibiru the combo fails," as though: A. that's not the case whenever a normal person's opponent has Ash Blossom or Nibiru anyway, and B. the fact decks require you to cut cards in your deck, JUST to MAYBE draw your handtrap outs in order to prevent this kind of cancer, is exactly the second half of the problem.
time to run D/D/D Rebel King Leonidas in my D/D/D deck again
"This isn't a good thing" proceeds with showing the world the deck profile lol
This is cool but definitely not as game breaking as its hyped up to being. If you don’t have the speed burst dragon in hand then you have to correctly call the coin toss. If you don’t make room for called by, then any hand trap ends this, because ash, veiled and imperm all stop Halc. Even d.d crow works if you banish the colt wing. So just open the hand trap...
but still, there are a lot of cards to counter the strat and you have to hope that your opponent wastes his negates/counter cards
Is not that expensive cause some of the cards are standard for most players so maybe u need 6 more ur cards. God I can see all the bots again. So if I dont lose to swordsoul I will lose against a human or bot one turn kill.
Can confirm. I was a victim of this FTK
I don't even mine that people could 99.9% First Turn Kill me.
What bother me is that I can go to Cancún for may vacation, come back and they're still not done summoning.
This is what kill Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel for me.
so that what I tried to build go figure... the new end was just too great for having two unstopped monsters on the first turn and for Performapal version with the lovely Beyond the Pendulum even with cupid giving damage to you opponents to loosed it effect Beyond the Pendulum gave you enough damages so that end would still be unstoppable {also the reason why I ask for mecha to get ban and not crytron this must had been why though xD thanks Kazuki Takahashi and konami also the people that raed mine paper that i was trying to make into a book but got scared and lost instead after that ... }
Mark Denzel Matzke
I wonder if that make any sense should had gone for the FTK of well ...
This game turned into a glorified coin flip. Whoever is first wins and plays by himself for 10 minutes. I only play classic decks
Something tells me this will (By some "Miracle") bypass konami's radar
Does this deck still work against the new top deck? If not would you be able improve it where it’s impossible to beat unless banned.
Ok so, balance wise, they should definitely ban Auroradon. That said, I just crafted a bunch of cards for Halq + Auroradon combos so I hope they dont
They can't ban anything, because this deck can lose to handtraps, halq literally loses to ash
Thanks to that UA-camr showing the community this to stop people building this deck
2:57 i gonna point out around here your opponent will probably land nibiru at this point.
Bro, it doesnt matter that halq and auroradon make some tier 10 deck better, when it makes the actual best decks ridiculous.
@@arielgomes7989 so does every other good card

I can never figure out why Konami doesn’t have a summon limit per turn. Makes the game way more interesting to see what players can come up with in like a 3-4 special summon limite per turn.
Thats what nibiru is for
@@tootaroni_chan that’s one card bro. It would be a whole lot more fun not having to wait for your opponent to finish after 5 minutes of summoning and just for you not to play the game. That’s 100% boring.
