Well yeah - but have you actually seen this band live? I saw their live concert at Liverpool in 2016 and they do a fantastic job of replicating Dire Straits. I've been a DS fan since they began in 77 but as MK chose to go it alone these guys do a superb job of keeping Dire Straits alive after they disbanded. Thanks Chris White - you are amazing - keep on - sod the critics - they don't understand ...

Well-done, indeed, but a little too much "sanitized" to me: this copy has a kind of "uncanny valley" feeling it shares with all the tribute bands, in fact... Singer is trying to mimic MK in all possible ways - playing style, guitar models, body position, even using the same kind of shirt, and accessories! - Why not just playing (as well as he does, in fact), and avoiding over-copy? This would just simply be good, and certainly more tasty.
Great !!! "on every street" was well done but " brothers in arms ", omg they killed the song :( I'm disappointed. Those guitarists couldn't get the feel on that song definitely, even if Chris Whitten and Chris White did very great. Hope they're gonna make it better next time. Thx for sharing the video, I could at least enjoy "On every street"^^
On every street was amazing to me --- better than the Straits. Maybee because I met a girl yesterday, that locked like a long time ago girlfriend of the big easy days. Brings tears in my eyes.
Certainly. Yes, they are not THE Dire Straits but part of them IS. Chris White is Chris White. The experience is very very good. For those who long to the old days... But yes, these are new days and those who expect a copy/paste... respect lives many lifes. For me. Is it worth it ;)
We just bought seven tickets without realizing either. I feel really stupid. The ad was in Hungarian, and I was so excited that I failed to read the details. I hope it will be worth it, too.
No he podido terminar de escuchar el video, francamente me parece que el único músico que suena bien es Chris White. El guitarrista que interpreta a Mark Knopfler no transmite absolutamente nada, ni como guitarrista ni como vocalista. La verdad es que hay bandas tributo a Dire Straits que lo hacen muchísimo mejor.

A more than decent rendering, but without the emotional weight of the original. This vocalist sings the lyrics. Mark inhabits them.
