I love how this show went from a slightly quirky comedic quiz in Ivo's round to thinly veiled lunacy in Desiree's (talking about the format, not the topic)
It also cannot happen with Mercury and Venus. It only happens with the planets further away from the Sun than Earth (so Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and all the other crap out there.)
@@lelandd.295 They absolutely do retrograde, as they are not synced in orbit with earth. It's just not always clearly visible like the planets picking up that solar opposition sunlight like Mars which is the super clear example of it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_astronomical_explanation_for_Mercury_retrograde.webm A video from nasa showing mercury's retrograde relative to earth. Venus spends more days in retrograde to earth, though.
I would say the winner of the quizz is the person who knows least, as the most intelligent. I cannot believe this is a 'subject' that would get air time. It is asking people to admit to most fatuous, vacuous interests. As to Desiree, it is like proudly admitting you are... I am not saying it, but very definitely thinking it. My opinion of her has dropped through the floor.
Mr. Pipes, wasn't that the name of the supposed ghost on that infamous BBC special Ghost Watch? I've never seen it, and from what I understand it just turned out to be "reality" TV bullshit, but I seem to remember seeing scenes from it and the family refers to the "ghost" as "Mr. Pipes", or maybe just "Pipes"...
I was surprised Richard didn't call it out as bullshit until I remembered that David Mitchell was the comedy panel show personality who I had seen call it out in the past. Both Richard and David might have held their tongues out of politeness, though.
Frankly, winner should have been lowest score, as evidence of educated, rational thinker. If Desiree is really this enthusiastic about the subject, my respect for her has dived
@@robertbrennan8187 No, because Desiree already established that it's partially witchcraft, and every other game on this show is equally bullshiy anyway, none are taken seriously.

"Oh, mate!" is my new catchphrase.
Ok not gonna lie... Richard is my "hall pass" Im just saying.
Id never have a chance but man! He is #1 for me lol
It was nice that they explained retrograde is only an optical illusion.

Is it an optical illusion or mere relativity?

Her birthday is the same as mine, I just found that cool 🎉

Maybe they had a bad case of waterhammer pipes. In which case, I know a good plumber who could help with that...
That's right! Lovely to see Mr. Pipes still knocking about in 2023
Haha i enjoyed those questions but damn is astrology a bunch of bullshit 💀

Funnily enough it's without exception people who never bothered to actually learn anything about astrology who call it out.
