Waddie, treasure every year you have your Pa Pa Waddell. My dad just passed in January. Been hunting the same piece of property for 30 years.
Good advice I lost both my parents in September this year to Covid. My daddy was my super hero and the best hunting buddy I could’ve ever asked for. I’m greatful for everything he taught me in the woods and those precious memories! But hunting hasn’t been the same nor will it ever be.

My Bone Collector Smackdown .670 for my 835 is absolutely LETHAL with darn near every load I feed it, including the now discontinued and notoriously difficult to pattern Federal Heavyweight 15 gm/cc 3.5" load. My .555 winchoke Smackdown for my 1300 Black Shadow and TC Prohunter won't pattern anything. Lol

I can watch deer archery hunts all day- turkey hutn is sort of like bass fishing TV- pretty boring but I guess it's necessary-- BTW agree with the decoy comment, call em up clean without a decoy - or let em go. Decoys work but it sort of sucks for the Turkey, hate to fool a critter so bad they don't have a chance - but that's just me.

Waddie is one of the greatest in the outdoors industry. I stopped watching a lot of hunting shows on Tv but I’ll never stop watching these guys. When I watch, I always laugh, learn, and enjoy each episode.

Sucks they took 2 weeks from our season and took a bird. Then you have to wait an extra week to hunt public land. They are making it hard to hunt turkey this year. They change the rules and it sucks.
Stuff like the above doesn’t help. Killing for content.
