I think you are my favorite previewer. You explain your strategy really clearly and it really helps me understand each hole for when I watch the tournament. Thanks for putting the effort in that you do.
Second that. Coming from Norway, I've rarely met a "bad" teepad. Very often with a nice turf, or some kind of raked dirt, woodchips or something. Rarely just planks or concrete. Most courses in the south-eastern part of Norway are located in or in close proximity to the woods, so we have pine needles, leaves, moss or something else that tends ot make things siippery and borderline dangerous.
Rick, you are so good at these breakdowns, you take us inside your mind and provide priceless insights as to how us novices should be approaching the game. All the best for the Open, we'll be cheering you on from Australia!!
The beard is a good look for you dude ! Love how you describe your thought process on each hole, it's very informative. Thanks for the content, hope you have great results over there.
Awesome video, Ricky, and kinda annoying to see how easy you make some of these holes look 😄 Best of luck this weekend, I can't wait to come out and see you:)
Rick - your commentary is incredible. You need to do more of this! Seriously so good. I feel like I know more about the game now from watching this video, than I have learned from watching disc golf for the last 20 years.
It’s awesome to hear your breakdowns and see you hit the lines for the strategy. Your enthusiasm is really contagious which I think is a big reason so many love watching you play. I was fortunate to meet you briefly at the Swedish open and you were super friendly and cool talking to the fans and signing discs. Thank you for that. Go Ricky!
I made two nasty putts last week because of Rick's tips in the last preview video in Sweden. I love how Rick talks through each shot. Good luck in the tournaments, Ricky!
As this is the only course on tour I've been round was looking for a practice round on it. Love to hear how you break down the holes & your strategy for each shot. Amazing work
Watching him describe the adjustment he’s going to make with his throw and how it will affect the shot, and then him executing it perfectly every time….crazy
You knew what I meant though right? If you have enough speed and height to be pin high on a super fast sloped green like that it’s probably not the ideal high percentage shot!
hole 8 is defenitely the hardest hole on the course if not the hardest hole in Norway. Seems like you already have cracked the course code and how to play it. kinda amazing how fast you did it. Do you think you will ever try to go for eagle on hole 5 with a backhand flex?
I think you are my favorite previewer. You explain your strategy really clearly and it really helps me understand each hole for when I watch the tournament. Thanks for putting the effort in that you do.
Was just about to say/write the exact same thing, then saw your comment… 100% agree…
It also helps to see golf placement thinking for our own tournament play.
Masterclass in disc theory
He has a 10% upvote ratio which is pretty good so I'd say you're not alone
Yes! Thanks, Rick.
No one breaks courses down better and more understandable than Rick. A true savant of the game.
Welcome to my home course. This is the best run through of Krokhol I have seen. All the best this weekend.
I love hearing Ricky's through-process, so thorough and comprehensive. Only respect!
This feels like a disc golf lesson within a course preview. Love the style Rick you’re an absolute legend.
One of the best DG content out there, awesome to get POV from your mind
Ricky's got the best breakdowns in the business. Love it.
Great preview, you are the best! Even a nature appreciation moment with a wild KJ, I love it!
Absolutely insane how Ricky just explains his entire gameplan and then throws 98% of his shots perfectly
He did one of these for Las Vegas Challenge a few years ago where he went like 16 down while doing the same thing.
I freaking love these videos. I love how he tells us what he's looking at and how to attack. Giving us insight on his mentality. Love it!
Really Next Level precision, and a thorough presentation! Respect!
They really care about teepads in Norway! Sheesh. Another great video from a goat
Can't have nice tee pads on temp courses 😏

Rick, love your commentary and what you're thinking. You are/would be a superb coach! But in the meantime, let's take this tourney down!

Ricky is so knowledgeable. So many intricacies to the game.

"So... We're just gonna get a birdie here (drills putt), and that's how you play hole 4!"
Lmao
This course looks amazing!!!!
"that almost went in which is not a good shot" :D Ricky you are amazing!
You knew what I meant though right? If you have enough speed and height to be pin high on a super fast sloped green like that it’s probably not the ideal high percentage shot!

Let’s hope that USA citizens learn how to use metric system because of discgolf.🙏🏻😅
