It has been 1 month i bought my iphone 7 plus jet black and i have been using an apple silicon case throughout the whole month and after opening the cover for first time i am shocked to see not even any micro abberations under flash good job from apple the case is superb and grippy too
I've been using mine with an apple silicone case and not a single visible/serious scratch. Just micro scratches that are only visible under very bright light. I love using it without a case because it looks premium and simply beautiful.
I got the 256gb iphone7 in GOLD. I had a hard time deciding between the jet black or matte black. So I ended up getting the same color I've had for the past few iphones.
I'm really debating between the Jet Black or the Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus, i had the Rose Gold but i didn't like the white front didn't really fit into my usage of the phone, i love the jet black but i'm really scared of the scratches ( i held both the jet and the matte black in store and the jet black just feels more seamless, the jet black is also made out of aluminium but it's a polished aluminium so it looks & feels like glass. ) so should i get the Jet Black or the Matte Black ?
I personally have a 7 in matte black. I'd say if you're like me hate scratches and fingerprints definitely go for that one. But if you're ok with them, go for jet black. Hope this helps :)
Usher Vaynshtain I have the matte black 7 plus and it attracts fingerprints all the time and they can be seen against light easily. Not as much as the jet black but they are enough to destroy the look and you'll have to wipe the phone all the time. Secondly, the matte black is losing colour as well. At least mine is. Just below the apple logo where I rest my right index finger, I can see shine developing. It's because of sweat probably. It's not hugely noticeable but it being just a month since I've been using it, I do worry about the long term quality of the paint. So that's also important to consider. The matte black does hide scratches better. You just can't see them. The jet black will get scratched but you'll be able to see them only in very bright lighting and only if you're looking for them. Otherwise you won't notice. If you're really feeling the jet black, I'd suggest you get it. Keep a minimal case on when you're out and about. Remove it when at home or in safe places like sofas or bed to enjoy the look and feel of the phone. That's how I'm rolling.

I got a naked wrap from slickwraps. DON'T DO IT. My order got lost in the mail for 2 weeks but then they found it and I eventually got it after about a month after ordering.. Secondly, the corners and top and bottom pieces come off after a few weeks. I don't know if it's because I brought it into the shower a few times and got the edges wet so they became unsticky, or that they just naturally come off easily.
Yes I love it but now I kinda want the red iPhone to show off and be less worry about my scratches I've had this phone since October 😍 and I haven't it on a case from apple like in ur video and sometimes I just take the case of to admir my phone
Well I have the jet black 7 plus ....I thought it would be cool to have something so unique, bit now its scratch.... 😞 my next iPhone it won't be jet black , with my 6s plus never had a problem , no finger prints ,no scratches, no problem whatsoever.... Once you go jet black you would definitely go back 😤

My jet black still have the plastic on the back from when you take it out the box with the apple silicone case. Scratch free my OCD is serious 🤣
