If the airpods are the " future " and they had that much confidence in them, they should have included them in the box. Sheeple will pay the little extra, but they add ear buds in the box.. why not go all out if you're that confident? Just a little observation

Apple is a for profit business, you don't make profit by giving away your $160 wireless earphones lol. EarPods cost $30 but they probably cost around $5-10 to produce and they can probably produce them in enormous amounts in little time, AirPods on the other hand cost MUCH more to produce and they probably can't manufacture dozens of millions of them in a short time to include them in the box with iPhones. It's called supply chain, logistics and business.

The iPhone 7 Plus still outperforms the newest Android flagships in benchmarks and speed tests. Add in the software experience, level of support, battery life and camera set-up, and you have a no-brainer. There's always something nicer around the corner, but this is still a damn good phone.

Apple has to sort out its pricing. The MacBook which is fairly low spec'd compared to the Dell XPS etc shouldn't be so damn expensive. Apple could have trebled its market share if it did the following:- 1) Make an iPhone 8 the same price as the Samsung S8 Plus. 2) Make the MacBook Air and sell it at a cost of £750. The MacBook would be £850. The MacBook Pro can be more expensive still. You make more money from volume than you do from selling it a high price. Examples: iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods & iPad. These are expensive but not so expensive that you would not get it. The MacBook's start from £1250 which is a lot. Anything over £1000 isn't for the mass market. It's a niche.

Hmm I'm thinking of getting a secondhand 7 Plus... Reason being is that I came from a 6S but broke it and have been using an old 5S for months now. It's tiny screen, slow performance and really bad battery life is driving me crazy lol. I got a deal with someone for 725 Euro's for a 7 week old iPhone 7 Plus 128GB matt black. (Dollar and Euro are roughly the same in value). Waiting 2 or 3 more months for a new 7S or 8 is excruciating with this 5S (lol) and it will be a hell of a lot more expensive. I love the jet black finish on my iPhone it feels so much nicer than the aluminum. I use my jet black iPhone 7 Plus without a case or screen protector. There are definitely some scratches on the front and back but you can only see them in really bright light.
The jet black definitely scratches easily. The first scratch I saw on the back of my iPhone happened three day after I bought it so it definitely scratches easily.
