Parents gave me a Bach Strad. for Christmas, 1957. Copper colored bell? Lare bore. Played it through school, in college, later with town bands and now at the age of 78 I give trumpet lessons. My Bach and the case still look brand new, in excellent condition. The case has always had a cover on it.I have the original papers, 1957 Bach catalog, etc. I wouldn't part with this for any amount of money.
I did find a valve issue and it took a little grease after about 10-15 years and it took a bit of greasing for it to be tuneable, primarily on the main tuning slide. still the best trumpet in my family by a mile, beating out a nice bundy and a Chinese starter horn
If you want to hear examples of how this instrument sounds, I've added a video on my channel with a few selections. Please forgive the ending of this video where I've removed the previous recordings that weren't the best sound quality.
you could clean the yellow brass, however, it is said that Bach trumpets are not as good as they used to be for value as they are living off the brand name. There are arguably better trumpets on the market that are not as expensive of equal quality.
Your comment has a big contradiction. You might question models after 2006 but you shouldn’t make a generalization of Bach trumpets as junk. Thousands of professional players can’t be crazy as to playing Bach for decades and even nowadays. Your comment sounds like a Bach hater, no rationale. And yes, I am a Bach lover and owner.
EN PUERTO RICO LAS ORQUESTAS USAN MUCHO LAS TROMPETAS VICENT BACH STRADIVARIUS
I have one from the 80's when i took band in school.I love it...

Helpful review! I’m in the market for new horn considering both a new Strat and a used one. You covered good points. Thanks!
The horn sounds much better than the video represents. I'll record it again with better audio and re-post this review.
Aqui no Brasil um trompete como este custa o preço de uma Ferrari 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I've had mine since 1998. Mine has double trigger though.
I’ve heard of double trigger but never seen it what is it exactly

Hay diferencias entre el Modelo 37 y el tr501s?
Hiram Garcia No sé
I think the tr501 is a intermediate trumpet
Do the different types of models even matter? If so, how big of a difference does it make?
1st valve mid staff D is so flat you have to play it 1&3 with 3rd trigger. I'm getting a different horn just because of this reason, it's a real pita.
thats with almost every trumpet
I find the yellow brass showing on the tuning slide distracting as well. My Getzen Eterna Classic has nickel silver slides to avoid that look.
Great video, just turn your exposure down a bit on your camera.
Can't believe they went 12 minutes without playing it!
I've had mine since 1974.
Jojo Diver ok boomer
Señor.Death Wings ok zoomer
my grandpa has one and I'm getting it
Ur hella lucky I got a Carl Fischer senator and it was ASS
Thk you.
A beautiful sounding trumpet, unfortunately badly processed.
I am getting one
They are a great horn. You won't regret your purchase. Mine has been trouble free for over 25 years and still has a great tone. Best of luck!
The Trumpet Guy thx

Any Bach trumpet is junk. Bach hasn't made a decent trumpet since before the 2006 strike.
Even the new lead trumpets

I would definitely NOT get a Bach.! I rather get a XO before a strad.
