Ma che belle le foto al castello di Miramare! Più il luogo è iconico e più è difficile rendere una atmosfera particolare. I tuoi scatti riportano indietro nel tempo. Bellissime immagini.
I like this video about Trieste, since i've been reading Claudio Magris book of 1997 called "Microcosmi", about his native Trieste. Great to see some pictures of a city i've never been to.
Hey Jim thank you for commenting! Yeah I tend to use the built in meter and it's pretty reliable. I tend to overexpose it a touch. The lens hood is on a UV filter with a normal thread, it was already there when I bought the camera - but I think you can find one of the right diameter on ebay 😉
@scoops2007 thank you for the kind comment! No it doesn't depend on the battery, I just do it because usually I get better results with negative film. I wouldn't do it on slide film tho for example
@@michelefranciotta ah I see. I have heard that running a 1.5v battery with an adapter means the camera will over expose unless it has been adjusted. I am looking at picking one up soon. Looks like a fun camera!! Thanks for the pictures though they really help prospective buyers.
Absolutely by eye 😂 the good thing is that shooting at F16 on a pretty wide lens you have a very good depth of field to play with. I've found that past 5-6 meters it's pretty easy to have the subject in focus (sorry I'm bad with the conversion between ft and m). Things get difficult when it's darker, but generally speaking I would always try by eye and learn from the mistakes
Hey Anthony! It's a uv filter with a plastic lens hood, I bought the camera already with it but I guess you can find it on ebay or similar 😉 just check for the right diameter!
Hey Tom, I bought it from Amazon a long time ago, it's a screw-on plastic bit and it came in a pack of two. One shallow and one flat. Thanks for commenting!
When I scan with my Sony A7RII I end up with 42MP, then export a 2500px long image. When I use wescanfilm I usually get 24 MP but the quality is also much better because of drum scanning. Moreover you could get way bigger scans from it if you need that for printing :)
@@michelefranciotta The picture you took from the Rollei35 is very clear, very sharp. So I want to know what size you scanned it. I scanned it at 2700*1800. It's not very clear when posting on IG , FB .
@KhunTui-jl5nj it's either 7500px or 6000px wide, that is the start TIFF file. Then I open it in Lightroom to correct for color shift or other problems and resize it to 2500px for posting it. I resize it when I export the jpeg, but always start from a big TIFF or RAW file
@@michelefranciotta Thank you very much. You took very beautiful photos. I just got the Rollei35 Schneider Xenar camera. I don't know if it will take good photos or not. Because I haven't found any reviews of this lens on UA-cam. You are my idol.
I love my Rollei 35S. It's the ultimate pocketable camera. Great street shots around Trieste!
Thanks a lot 🤩 I'm glad to see that there's a lot of people enjoying this tiny camera
Love this video! I could watch stuff like this all day.
Thank you so much Jerome! I've been having some issues with developing times for my rolls but I have at least 3 more videos incoming! Stay tuned :)
@@michelefranciotta Hell yeah
Very nice the Rollei is killer 🔥
Indeed 😎
Most of them are cool. I really like landscapes. Propobly the most ;3
Thanks a lot for your comment! It's always nice to come home and develop a roll of film from a trip 😊

Grazie mille 🥰
Love my Rollei, hope to get some of this film and try it out one day!
It's a great little camera! Superia is a really nice film stock, I bought it quite randomly on a website but I also really appreciated it 😀
beautiful color 🎉
Thanks a lot mate!
Beautiful shots, well done!
Thank you so much Nuno!
Beautiful work
Thank you Terry!

I'm so glad you like it! Trieste is such a nice place to visit 😊
Did you use the built-in meter?... and can I ask where you got that flexible lens hood?

how did you judge the distance in the first photo with the lady? is it 20 feet?

Hey I was just curious wat is that around the lens? I have the same camera and I wanted to order that
