Code Orange, 100% Hardcore. It’s not about a sound it’s about the ETHICS. Tourists will try to say otherwise but the REAL knows the DEAL.

First of all- Your band is not hardcore. Never was hardcore. I tried listening to code orange back when they were on deathwish and it was absolute terrible nonsense not creative in the slightest. At least some deathwish bands are heavy but code orange has been an embarrassing flop since day 1
This band was NEVER good, and they’re now an embarrassment to the entire hardcore and metal scene
This is my issue with Metalcore as a scene though. The culture's changed: no respect for those who came before, all these newer bands just on some ruthless, business kinda shticks now, and like the live shows? Man, the never ending bitching and moaning about pits, fucking dorks getting all fucking pressed 'cause people are bumping into them. Dickhead's getting all pissy people are in their "shots" for their stupid ass TikToks n shit. Like, just ain't it anymore. Luckily Hardcore's still holding out better but like, damn.
Shoutout to bands like Code, Kublai Khan, Acacia, Drain, and Vein keeping it alive.

Yup, I'm nearly retired from going to shows of popular bands like BMTH and TDWP. The scene has been hijacked.
Based comment. I’m not a hardcore guy at all but I have seen this same thing play out in other scenes in music and elsewhere. It’s a gd shame.
definitely metalcore has stayed true in comparison to everything else they actually sound metalcore still while be being newer. not to mention one of those bands you named are metalcore at all lol.
