You're not alone! But I do have a good reason for creating this abomination 🥲 When Neuro does a funny, and chat reacts, the other chat is around 1.2 seconds late to react. Not only this but in a video like this where it cuts from one Neuro joke to the next, often times there will be a short period of time while Neuro is setting up the punchline where the chat won't make sense as they are still reacting to a previous un-related joke that wasn't in the video. The way I combat this issue is by extending the reaction of the previous cut into the next joke and swap to the current chat when the punchline is delivered. This way you can still watch chat's reaction to a joke you just heard while not having to read a chat that is unrelated to the current or previous joke. It makes the flow of the chat a lot more consistent. In a perfect world there would be a way for me to remove the on-screen chat but I'm afraid only Vedal has that power. Usually this isn't an issue as the on-screen chat is far enough to the left that it doesn't overlap with the subtitles but in this case, they are too close. If anyone has feedback or advice for me to try in future videos, please let me know 🙇♀
