Thank you, Kenny! I shoot mirrorless Canon also and haven't found very many helpful videos for shooting reef tanks. This video is great especially the white balance settings. And the specific filter color is a life saver. I ordered a few Tiffen orange filters and none of them did the job. Most helpful video in a long time.
Awesome. I needed this. Please more like this example Pics and videos Of fish. And best setting on iphone and if possible some andriod if we dont have dsl camera. Thanks
When we shoot a different tank with a different lighting, instead of re-acquiring a custom white balance, we tweak it with the orange filter, and sometimes even with the custom white balance correction function on the camera. Depends on the types of corals and circumstances, we shoot under all blue, sometimes mixing some whites, and full-spectrum on nps corals, clams, etc.
That was the best guide for coral photography I’ve seen yet. Very nice!
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
great video. I can add the 2 sec timer to reduce even more the tremble of the button.
I know you use a better camera. But could you do one for cell phone pictures??
Great instructional video Kenny, thanks🙂

Great tutorial! Thanks!🎉
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
If you are using a custom white balance then why do you need the orange filter? What lighting are you shooting? I typically shoot under all blues
