The way he arranged the rock in his main tank was great... so flowing and nice to look at, not to mention the beautiful corals and fish. Thought I would miss the sand but he pulled it off for me. Great camera work and interview, it's nice when the person asking questions knows what the heck they are talking about
Guy is living proof you can have nice tanks without going crazy with money. Always look for deals and cheap pumps can work well too. Best of luck my man. Really loved your setup.
Amazing set up! I'm getting back into the reef hobby after 20yrs away. I'm blown away by how much everything has changed, especially in lighting and pumps. Being able to monitor and control your tank through your phone is something I would have never dreamed of back in the day.
To anyone who isn't in the area fintastic pretty much only sells fritz rpm salt so I assume that's why it's what he uses. Work in a lfs north of Jensen Beach.
Beautiful tanks. WWC how do I contact you to show you my tank and see if you are interested in visiting? I think you guys would like it. Its something different....
Sorry if I’m lazy and this has been asked before.. since in the garage, how does he maintain temp year round? Is the garage door sealed off? Or is it a functioning garage? I’m going to be fragging soon and I have an upstairs complete vacant but I’d sooooo much rather put in garage on the same level as my main display. I’m in the south MS Gulfcoast so heat is an issue and we may get 1-2 mo of cold weather. Thank you
Amazing setups!😍😍 Curious to know what his electric bill is like each month and how does he keep such amazing SPS with nitrates at 50ppm? My Monti's start to bleach out at 40ppm.
this Hobby is transforming; it's so Hand's on and folks learn so many aspects of life science, biology etc... Building reef's from Basics build's character in a person.
Another LFS killer. Why anyone would open retail anymore. To support a large service and maintenance business sure. The variety of coral is not longer there. Seems almost all the same stuff. Kudos to you for doing it well for sure. 15 years ago only the top 0.5 % could keep SPS like this. Jason Fox was literally the only one I’d seen and a few of the Shops in Orange County California in their private shops.
Asking what people do for a living would be in poor taste. It’s obvious that most of the owners in these videos have enough money to fund this hobby. Unfortunately, reefing is too expensive for the average person and this hurts the hobby. Especially now with inflation and the recession many people are shutting down and scaling back.
This hobby can be enjoyed on a budget. While it is a "wow" moment to see multiple or supersized tanks, you can achieve the same "wow" with smaller tank. We have seen impressive 3gallon pico tanks, not to mention the PNW micro tanks. And there are plenty of live sales and coral swaps where you can find great deals on corals. We need to continue to support aquaculture corals and taking care of the oceans so we don't have the scarcity issues that drive up prices.
Vic has a lot of class promoting someone else’s coral sales that’s what I love about this hobby everyone just wants to help it’s awesome
This guy has a lot of talent and was such an awesome person! Deserves all the love!
It would be nice if y’all start asking them what they do for a living to inspire some of us. Because these tanks definitely cost a arm or two or 3
Hahaha yea man
I was thinking the same thing.... maybe "Distribution".... LOL
Or ask why they would ever sport that crap on their lip. Give me a break Dali.
Great suggestion! Thank you for watching!!
nobody wants too talk about money, thats in bad taste
This one is my favorite of the visits so far!

Очень крутая ферма! Мечта😊
excellent continuer comme cela
I have to wonder how he affords all this.... He said "all day every day...." Is this his "job"...?
He is able to produce and sell frags :) It's also his hobby, so it's just something that he spends lots of time with :)
14:30 Casper

Right??!! They were all so impressive!

Seen this right after I commented.. lol. Well done sir
Doesn't that leopard wrasse need sand to sleep?
Usually but due to circumstances, he’s adapted and now sleeps under a rock

In my opinion a tank is absolutely ruined without sand. I dont care if the rockwork is stuffed with high end coral.... wont like it
Is that a good business...???
