I genuinely loved this movie, and I didn’t mind the cheesiness of the ending, because it wasn’t WW84 level.
As for the reupload, maybe when you use video clips that you didn’t make, you link the original video in your description and pinned comment.

Its kind of funny that Jeremy points out that Guy has a real life and a whole routine as a sin because this is a real thing, in Rockstars Red Dead Redemption 2 every NPC has their own life, with their own routines that can be seen at any and every point through out the game no matter where you go, just because Jeremy is dumb enough to think that NPCs exist for the soul purpose of being there for us does not make it true
Many games actually do this. It is actually a part of game design.
That kind of thing isn't new, Gothic I was released in 2001 and plenty of NPC had daily routines, some of them unique, not shared by others.

Jeremy's obviously never played Skyrim. They do have full programmed routines....
and in Red Dead Redemption 2. You could actually follow an NPC and watch their whole routine and it gets altered based on the environment. If you kill the weapons shop owner in town the NPC will go to another town to get what they need
Most games that have mobile NPCs, those NPCs have a full routine of actions to perform which they will do as long as the player(s) do not interact with them.
It is a standard practice in game design and development.
If people knew a fucking thing about game design or development, they would know this. However the average gamer or movie watcher has zero knowledge about how these things are made.
Or GTA, any open world game

If you have access to a decent resolution copy, you can find a copy of his HUD once the glasses go on.
You'll see that he effectively has INFINITE ARMOR and INFINITE HIT POINTS.
I was also guessing that just because these items are in the game, it doesn't mean it's programmed to act like it would in their original source material. for all we know it could be a reskin of an ordinary sword

Mu Online has a Light Saber, it's a shit tier sword that suspiciously looks like Lightsaber a part basically named after one, it surely doesn't cut anything in half and I'm pretty sure Web Zen didn't pay a dime to use it's appearance.
You dont need to go that far. Its a video game with PvP, the weapons has to be balanced, there is no SW game in which a lightsaber kills with one hit. A weapon in a game is just a number, the weapon hitbox enters the NPC hitbox and the numbers are discounted

2. The scene he kisses Millie he attempts to tell either a really racist joke, a really lewd joke or a combination of the two. A joke he says he learned from two players in game.
The point being it's pretty likely he's overheard players talking about safe words etc.
It wasn’t racist, it was ableist. The joke was something like, “a homosexual and a guy in a wheelchair beat up a kid, which is ironic, because his mom told him fruits and vegetables were good for him.”

Weird sin to say "Oh so the movie is saying when a server shuts down everything just freezes in game for a good amount of time any then goes to black". That is quite literally how it is for a ton of video games when connection is lost to a server. You keep going, but everything else either freezes or just b-lines with no direction for a bit before fading away to a "Lost connection" screen.

dude I have turned getting to a movie theater on time into an art form because I refuse to miss anything.
Phase 1: order tickets online ahead of time to get good seats (in the exact center of the theater)
Phase 2: get plenty of rest so you can wake up early enough to prepare
Phase 3: empty bladder at home before going to the theater.
Phase 4: conceal pre-purchased snacks in a multi-pocketed jacket or cargo shorts/pants.
Phase 5: if the movie starts at 4:00 be out the door at 3:20 (times may vary depending on theater distance)
Phase 6: upon arrival at the theater attempt to empty your bladder a second time before finding seats (just in case)
Phase 7: once the seat has been found, recline to optimal comfort (if the theater offers this)
Phase 8: enjoy tv commercials (because that's what happens when you get there before previews)
Phase 9: enjoy previews (that you definitely didn't already see online)
Phase 10: enjoy the movie

This movie reminds me so much of The Lego Movie that’s crazy,, but that’s a good thing.
A joyful man living his life on a routing he follows strictly in his apartment in a city. He is a no-face average background character who’s nothing more then part of a crowd. In this world he lives in are individuals who are not bound by the strict code that he follows, who are free to do what they want.
One day, the man’s life is turned completely on it’s head when they meet a tough, no nonsense woman, who they he falls for. She notices something special about him and takes him on a journey that completely changes his worldview. He fumbles and makes a lot of mistakes, but he eventually learns and becomes one of these “free” individuals. He amasses a group of friends to stop the destruction of their world, then later learns that said world is nothing but a fantasy created for entertainment by humans, and that he himself is was specially chosen by the creator of their world as a persona of the creator themself to express their emotions towards someone.
I find it so funny that UA-cam can't take out porn, bots, clickbaits and shit like that off the site, but they take out anything that MAY break copyright laws with a fuckin TSAR bomb.

Five Nights at Freddy's exists as Scott Cawthons previous game, Chippers and Sons lumber co, was seen as creepy with the characters feeling like animatronics, thus making a game to purposefully feel like creepy animatronics aka fnaf.
The sin about CinemaSins not recognising any of the UA-camrs, while JACKSEPTICEYE is playing on screen, actually hurt. Like fine even I don't recognise some of them and there's a couple I don't even like but CMON how do you not know Sean??? CINEMASINS IS *ON* UA-cam!!

Another problem with Jeremy saying npcs in games dont have full schedules, and that they spawn in when you get close to them, is how very wrong it is. I left a long comment on the cinemasins video, but there are plenty of games that have full on schedules for its npcs, and they move and act when you arent anywhere close to them. The elder scrolls games for instance, oblivion and skyrim, have very in depth 24hour schedules for their characters. Some npcs will even travel across the map to visit relatives in other cities, regardless of where you the player are, they will still make these journeys.
so i mentioned this on a comment in the cinema sins video, but ill mention it agian. the sin was the fact that Guys morning routine is loaded in when there is no player in range to see it. (closest we have is some people in a helicopter flying by.) this is why he mentions processing power as the game would need to have the npc's loaded in at all times no matter where you are in the city.
your examples are counter intuitive to your point as the elder scrolls games, while keeping npc's to their routine, Unloads the npcs when their out of a certain range (this can be tested with followers. recruit one, get it stuck in one place then walk from the location to a far away loading zone.....or launch them off high hrothgar. youll find the follower does not warp to you and you cannot recruit another one as you technically still have one.) A better example would be an online mmo, but there are very few that don't abuse pop in to load an npc in for the player.
Tldr: im not saying your wrong, there are MANY games with npc routines. but there are very few that keep the NPCS rendered and loaded in at all times.

@@megasora4 there is an issue with your point though, free city isn't a single player game, it's a multiplayer game. All of the interactions you mention are calculated on-server, so they are technically always loaded in.

Talking about music in movies, my parents both love what they call "Classic Rock".
My dad gave up on music when it went to "Scream-o".
It took me going to UA-cam, for the first time, off of a link in a videogame in the early 2000's to show them that music had (once again) changed.
The game was Star Wars Republic Commando.
The song was Clones by Ash.
This led my family to find various music groups; Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Shinedown, etc.
My family has since been listening to more modern music, and have enjoyed listening to it, but we still appreciate the music that came before.

That momen with Guy moving while everything else is frozen is also actually pretty realistic in programming terms, the physics and player input update threads were stopped so the world doesnt move based on those hence the standstill guy being an autonomous AI though has his own thread of computation and is navigating th memory independently

There are so many coffee shops that close in the early to mid afternoon. How has Jeremy not encountered that before in all the time he’s been alive?
I'm so tempted to go to Jeremy's video and mention games where AI have routines... however it may be a waste of energy and time unfortunately. Also I actually wondered why there wasn't a 4 on the calendar when I watched this. Anyone have an answer? I thought it was a specific day to patch or update. Also, I just saw you juggling(writing this while watching). That's amazing. I enjoy watching jugglers juggle.
No 'may' about it, Code. It *will* be a waste of energy, time, neurons, and sanity. And ultimately, it's an exercise in futility because Jeremy gives zero craps about anyone's opinions but his own, and thinks 'facts' are something you used to get out of a printer before email was invented.
My headcannon is that guy made the calendar but miscounted or misplaced it. Also in some countries (mostly in Asia) 4 is seen as unlucky number since its sound similar to death.
And here I am thinking of that one joke in Turning Red

The reason they used Fantasy is because the meaning is quite literally to want someone she walks past, but can never be with. It's the best song choice for this movie.
3:22 five nights at Freddy’s exists because Scott cawthon had tried developing a bunch of games, none of which had any success. After one particular game, Chipper and sons, Scott was told his character designs were creepy. So, in one last attempt to make a game, Scott intentionally made creepy animatronics and the game FNAF. This turns into a success so he made more games. Then books. Then even more books and games. Then a movie.
No it exists because some guy had a disagreement over his hours and decided to take revenge on the manager and 4 other employees at chuck e cheese. One of whom survived

I think it's actually kind of funny how to server shutting down looks like stopped time.
Mostly because in old Source games, when the server would shut down, time would crawl to halt and look frozen.
Why is Jeremy sinning anything in Guy's apartment? The calendar, the plants, the dominoes, etc. None of them are real, they are all images in a video game that would never been seen by players. Jeremy knows this because he has seen the movie in advance, which is how he knew Millie sings Fantasy for Guy to hear.

Biggest issue with Cinema Sins that I see is one you kept pointing out, Characterization is not a sin. Plot points, time lines, characterization, locations, these are all things he 'dings' movies for by whining about it, when it's just the movie.
There are a lot of "sins" that can be easily explained as being part of the game and are a result of the programming.
Guy having plants (real or fake) that are not in direct sunlight? The plants were not programmed to need sunlight or are programmed to react as such, as most decor is
Guy not feeding his fish? The fish wasn't programmed to need fed, likely it isn't a form of resource management
Dude blocking a lightsaber? He was programmed to be able to do so!!!
Why do I get the feeling if Jeremy played a racing game, he'd question why there are no puzzles to solve?
Birdman re-upload means I come back and re-enjoy the video sooner than expected. The Master Duel reference, shots at 2K is still absolutely masterful, this whole 20 minutes is absolutely great.

To be fair, DL1 grappling hook wasn't much better. It had no physics and just moved you towards a point which made it less of a grappling hook and more of a "I want to go there" hook

That's not really a correction, more an addition to that quote. The movie is about a video game, so it makes more sense to refer to "game programming" rather than "all complex programming".
