I used to owned Toyota Wish 2.0 and Stream 1.8..After my Stream was involved in an accident the car was totally lost and has to be scrapped..My budget was quite tight but after few test drive the 2019 updated model..I feel i have to give it a trust..Till now with 27000km no issue and i just change the cvt transmission fluid and filter and did CVT adaptation..The tip is to monitor the oil cooler hose(Which material is above average for 2018 model above) and only use original Proton CVT fluid..Don’t take shortcut for the CVT fluid cause the Punch cvt doesn’t like other type..I am using fully synthetic Petronas 10W40 and run smoothly..I dare to say the power is better than my stream 1.8 but top end still cannot match my old 2.0 Wish..

Exora is a very good buy if you compare it to newly launch expander.. 60 ish grand is waaay cheaper than any full sive mpv tough.. aruz size is not good imo.. just like alza
Yes although it might be old in tech but practically wise it still beat most of the competition in the same price range.

Hydraulic power steering.
Driving exora MC2 from 2015 until now. Finally habis loan.
Now looking for another mpv under 100k , surprisingly, nothing match to exora from performance , space & comfort.
Already test drive > Xpander Alza Brv Innova Rush Aruz , all out. Their pickup is not effortless as exora (with4big ass + 1salesman) 😂
*after exora , the only upgrade > alphard vellfire kia carnival Staria , all those executive level.
Can go for mid class Serena, Voxy, Stepwagen too.
from the video, the nvh seems to be good enough for a car at this price but what say you? Is it loud like older protons?
Overall NVH is decent, just the CVT dronning sound could be a bit annoying to some at least for me. It is actually not disturbing if you put on the audio in the car, just when you wanted a quiet drive without any sound in the car, this could break your relax driving experience. As you said it still can be justified due to its price.

In terms of stability, handling and spaciousness yes. As for fun to drive factor, refinement those 2 are better.
Hmmm this might be better deal than the xpander even though the xpander is newer but exora still decent for day to day usage and it's more power to pull the car tho.
Yes. When you have full loads. Torque is very important. And this car has it.
In my opinion, this car is quite lethargic to drive. The steering is heavy, brake pedals a bit tough for my liking, engine response is terrible due to the slow cvt and sitting inside the car can get tiring bcs of the not so plush seats. However, the torque is really impressive. Under full load, it doesn’t feel underpowered at all. Its just that slow cvt response and whine turns me off.
@@audiey7179 maybe the lastest one has tune-fining the cvt response so should be present to drive around tho. let's see whether they will introduce the new mpv in the future.

@@audiey7179 i have driven the latest exora.. engine response is quite ok.. not bad at all.. but yes the delay is there compared to persona vvt.. can feel the heaviness of its body

Is it true that Exora can't climb medium high hills? and have problems in the gear sensor? I'm planning to look for a second hand MPV and Exora (2012/2014) is one of the options, but I've read a lot of problems on fb Groups and it makes me a bit worried
I never tried this car with long distance and long hill climb. Short hill climb is ok, no problem at all.
