I love the engine sound of this Saga when it accelerates, it reminds me of the Saga BLM and Saga FL with the 4 Speed Auto gearbox.
Still using the same engine block from blm - flx. The newer one got VVT, replacing the old IAFM.
Plz give saga keyless entry & push start button, tambah harga sikit pun ok. Kompom customer axia lari n pilih saga

Yeah. Agree.. somehow then the price will be 45-50k like bezza then.
@@adamfathullah8643 not really la, bezza is overprice model with “eco idle” bandge (padahal fungsi start stop je itu pun geng myvi selalu turn off) & fancy accessories & skirting. I believe proton can manage better than that 👍. The current saga model already bring a good value, just give several feature as i mention to keep saga competitive.
Imo kalau takde persona mesti proton bagi saga keyless push start. Walaupun persona segment B saga A. Sbb taknak kacau market persona standart and maybe exec. Contoh kalau bagi saga premium push start, tapi persona standard yg harga lagi mahal dan segment atas dari saga takde pushstart. So kat situ dah ganggu sales persona standart. Melainkan proton bagi dahulu kesemua persona keyless as standart. Samalah mcm Saga flx 1.6se, Masuk je generasi saga vvt dan sekarang facelift R3,LE dah takde 1.6. sbb proton kata taknak kacau sales persona. mcm tu lah kisahnya.. Melainkan ada All new saga mungkin ada, sbb dah 2021 kot.
Saya suka saga ni psl design dia Agak petak xbulat mcm dulu, pastu design dia sy suka tu yg sampai pasaran luar negara, bunyi dia Agak sedapla dan selesa djbawa even bawah 120 km/j dan yg penting ia mampu milik

I drove the new 2019 proton saga climb the Cameron highland with family 5 person inside the car.Surprisingly quite powerful and going to downhill very stable and good response from the steering and suspension
Good to hear that. Sometimes power is base on personal expectation. As for handling and ride no doubt this car has superiority over it's competitor at the same price range.

That's surprising. Because I also drove the 2019 model with just me inside... and driving uphill feels rather heavy. But i'm not sure maybe have to do more tests on it 👌
This is a very very good sedan in its class. Best balance of all be it city drive or highway drive. The kind of Proton Saga that I feel like wanna buy now.

Not all Proton models that I test drove. Just those listed in my Proton car playlist. If from all of them I have give to X70. It might be not the best handling among them, but it is a very good all rounded package. So it contributes to drive to be my favorite.
The big improvement is the overall build quality👍👍👍 Thumb up😁kick out the problematic🌡️ n nightmare🌚 CVT gearbox. 👏👏Retuned ecu programming - - - smoother n save fuel⛽⛽⛽. This is the right way to go 👉👉🚘🚘. Proton already made a big step forward👍👍👍cheers🍻🍻

Looking at the video, it seems that there are indeed a lot of improvements compared to the saga flx model. Especially the silence in the cabin.
If it wasn’t because of the rattling noise, i think this car is pretty quiet ! the engine noise is acceptable
The rattling noise probably is the vibration of the car to the coin on dashboard

Yes as I mention in my channel description. Try to use headphone to feel the sound and noise to mimic a real driving experience.

Hi in terms of ride quality as a driver, which one do u prefer, the saga or the persona?
I like saga has a lower seating position. But overall ride quality Persona is much more refine than the saga.

Saya baru ambik saga std auto..masa tekan minyak 1000rpm+-..slow ja..dia mcm ada bunyi bergetar ..xtahu enjin ke apa..mmg normal ka? Bergetar halus ja..klau tekan minyak kuat skit..xbunyi dah.. bunyi tu jd time pertukaran gear 1-2..

Smooth when going down hill? Older Campro car had this weird hard shifting to lower gear when coasting downhill (even in Preve with CVT) that makes the engine revs up to 3000rpm. Not a big fan of that.
I didn't encounter any engine braking kick in my test drive. Maybe the downhill is not steep enough or so.
Thats is engine braking.. all proton cars have that future for safety

It could be some panel inside the car is rattling.
Because of the joining between plastic parts. Mine saga more than 1year... Until now keeping trying to solve 1 by 1.

Normal la, test drive car usually under hardcore driving for most. Especially those already been there for quite sometimes.

Around 14 to 15 seconds from 0-80kmh on my acceleration test. You check it out on the video time 7.17. thanks

saga 1.3 auto standard or bezza 1.0 G auto ? which 1?? bingung..
It depends on what you need actually. If you drive in city more then Bezza might be better as it is a lighter car anf overall petrol efficiency is good. Else Saga will be a the choice as the car can do highway cruising with a more comfortable and stable ride.

Saya kalau naik grab lebih prefer kereta proton dari perodua, rasa lebih selamat dan smooth

Thanks for the suggestion. As I mention in my channel, these videos are to create a virtual test drive. So I kept the environment as quiet as possible to let the viewer feel the sound generated by the car that leads into the cabin. It was a short test drive as well. So I usually will speak in my walkaround or review video.
@@AnthonyLoh I actually love the quiet POV driving here. Too much talking takes away from the experiencing the car albeit virtually. It helps me visualise myself as a driver which is helpful for me on deciding what car to buy. Luckily if I need more information about the car itself there are plenty of other videos that do talk about it.
