- Venezuela and Panama played in the opening round of the 2023 Little League World Series. Panama entered with a 1-0 record, while this was the first game of the LLWS for Venezuela.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Pretty funny that the 1B for Panama reacted with his foot instead of his glove at 6:22. Probably a soccer player first.
He was flat footed and leaning the wrong way. My one LLWS pet peeve is seeing kids who don't know how to be ready in the infield. There's no excuse for a coach not to have drilled it into their players by this age.
You should be landing on the balls of both feet in an athletic position the moment the ball reaches the batter. It's not a hard concept, and it would've turned this base hit into an easy groundout.

they were just ok. Sherman Oaks who lost to El Segundo in the State Final 3-2 is a team that could have done some damage here.
Taiwan, Curaçao, Texas, Tennessee, maybe Japan and California are better
