I remember an off shore site had LLWS, and they had Gavin weir pitching as an underdog and the under set at 7.5… it was the easiest wealth redistribution Opportunity in history
Wish they televised PG tourneys. Im 22 now, played 14u against kumar rocker at the atlanta facilty. He was touching low 80s on 60ft mound. He got drafted 1st rou d our senior year lol
@@jcgocrazy yeah his travel team was full of D1 studs. Also played against Carmen mlodzinski (pirates pitcher) in high school. Low-mid 90s and a crazy CB that was like 79-83.
Played serious ball with a HS buddy, 5’8 maybe, 145lbs, lefty and born somewhat bow legged, pitched 89/91 at 14. Rest of us hi 60 low 70 if lucky. He went on to play Minor ball for a few years at 2nd base. I remember he was hell to get off his feet playing hockey too. Solid as hell good friend and teammate.
There are a lot of Hockey players trying baseball. And they are doing so well. Tom Glavine of the Atlanta Braves player hockey. He turned out to be a hell of a baseball player.
That Gavin Weir concerns me though, incredible as he is. He gets almost all of his velocity with a very floppy and violent arm whip. You know he's probably thrown a ton, probably too much in LL, because parents are stupid and don't take care of their kids' arms. He throws like this to the MLB level, he may be 75% used up and not far from his first TJ surgery.
I saw this too. He's got to practice a form or his arm will fall apart. All of these kids sadly if pushed to fast and not taught recovery techniques they are done. He's controversial but I watched Trevor Bauer and learn alot over the last few years. Too bad I'm 27 lol
It depends on what he's feeling. l throw with a very loose whipping sidearm slot, and I've experienced no elbow issues for a year. But the second it hurts, I'm making a change.
He's got a Perfect Game account. FB velo is sitting around 80. He's class of 2027. Still 5'8 and about 140. Hasn't had any issues with his arm as of yet. Has pitched pretty well in high school so far. He's about to be 16. Here's to hoping for a growth spurt and that he can continue to improve and throw at a high level.
Every pitcher has undergone Tommy John surgery. Pitching motion is unnatural to the human arm and slowly damages all of ligaments in your shoulder. But most pictures come back with an even stronger arm after the surgery so it’s better if he gets it done earlier instead of later because it’s gonna happen either way.
Thats crazy leaving the hawaii pitcher lancaster (i think) out of this list i mean they outscored all their opponents 60-5 and beat every team to win the ws in 4 innings
I play for 5 tool sports baseball and Ronnie Weir is my coach he is the father Gavin Weir and he has another son so I’m glad to see Gavin Weir in this video
The first kid from Panama was throwing crazy 💩 and looked unhittable. They usually save the best till the end, so I can't wait to see who and what tops this. That Canadian kid, Loreto Scinaschrlti, was a giant, and damn did he have a great fastball. I'm Canadian, but I still have to go with the kid from Panama as the best. At least from the little we can see in a highlight video.
The problem with little league baseball is that it's organized.....go back to sand-lot and play the game and have fun......when you have a youngster that 5'9" and weights 165......throwing at a youngster that's 5'4"" weighs 120 pounds ..what do you think the result will be ........and the pitchers with all their curves etc......arms will be trash by their Senior year in high school.....
@@brooksrichardson nah travel ball 365 days nothing but baseball. You take a stacked travel ball team then go to little league you’ll go really far. Most of these kids play other sports they only play baseball when it’s season vs travel ball kids who play 365 days a year nothing but baseball
Travel teams usually have kids outside their areas while all these little league teams have to stay in their district. Oh and if any 12 year old is only playing baseball he’ll be burned out by high school. Kids that age should play any sport they want
Last year there was a pitcher named Caiden hall he threw mid 70’s I played him in district because he was from Hagerstown and I was from nc and we are like 15 minutes away in indiana he was impossible to hit off of
As someone Who coaches several youth baseball team's , the amount of cheating with kids beings over the age limit is insane in the U.S. I doubt that other countries, are not doing this. One team already in recent history got banned when going under investigation.
And because of the cheating, there is a TON of paperwork for All Star teams! I’m coaching 8/9/10 softball team and I have a 3-inch binder that I have to have on me at all times during the tournament!
@@demetriusstump8654 You are a legend for this and completely respect that you do this. Sad when parents taking other opportunities away from kids, when they aren't even the appropriate age... Commend of honor to you sir.
not a single one of them squares up to the plate after the pitch ... as soon as the ball is released, none of those weird flourishing motions they're doing have any effect on the ball's trajectory. as soon as the ball is released, you are now no longer a pitcher and you are the first infielder until the next play.
Garrett Williams had 15 innings of 0.00 ERA and 17 strikeouts in one game. Unhittable as they come.
Throwing 81 mph at 12/13 is absurd
Hardest I threw in highschool was 83 lol. I was a junkball pitcher, but I mainly played middle infield.
@@Monkey_11 it’s only that fast because the mount is like 15 closer than it is on normal sized fields
No, 81 is equivalent to 100+ mph
@@GamerDadLou 106.5 equivalent.

I’m pretty sure it’s kiyomiya
Ah I was off by a decade, I was thinking of Yutaaro Tanaka from 2003

Ong tho

Madjik Mackenzie was a beast too
For the first kid i only started throwing a knuckle curve when I was 14 15 and he's been throwing it since he was 12😭😭
Luis Garcia still had the same mechanics 😂😂😂

Notice that most of these pitchers have hit an early growth spurt. They will not be as dominant when the other kids catch up.
