i have that thing at my kitchen too but it goes from the stove area to the kitchen sink which is like the entire breadth of one side of the kitchen and whenever there is a guest trying to wash their hands they trip. the worst part is if they hit their toe nails

honestly impressive how incredible these shots were!! seeing the “ceiling” of water in the second shot and then the collapse of the spheroid into a flurry of droplets - seriously magical. wouldn’t be surprised to see this as practical reference in a movie.
Honestly i am having emotions about the fact that I've been watching these guys almost as long as the channels been out, and I'm going to university and gav's got grey hairs - just weirdly emotional about the passing of time on a slow mo video

Next year, similar idea, but instead of a Danicorn, you just place the balloon at the end of a slip n slide. This will enable Dan to pick up enough speed to blast through it AND have reduced chance (probably) of spinal injury!

That shot at 11:05 is INSANE
I think the coolest thing is at 11:36, while Dan is encased in water, if you look at the right side of the screen there are droplets hitting his "water skin" leaving ripples like a raindrop in a pool despite the fact that everything going on with every aspect of those moments is moving. His shoulder and the water encased around him have near the same velocity/direction, so the ripples spread around the curvature of his shoulder in near perfect circles like nothing at all was moving.
i've seen every single one of these videos - i'm _pretty sure_ Dan slamming into the balloon like an ICBM might be one of the finest and most artistic shots in Slo Mo Guys history.
You know, it occurred to me recently that Dan might be the single most photographed human in existance. Like, there are celebrities with months worth of video of them, but because he's been the subject of so many slow-motion videos for this channel, there real potential that he's the most photographed human who's ever lived
Particularly when you consider that 4 seconds of footage on the slo-mo camera is somewhere between hours to days of footage, depending on the frames its shot at...
I think Gavin said something about that very thing in the past. Might be on the 2nd channel, maybe?
