In my reactions, I show you my initial reaction (or fangirling) to music videos/songs. I sometimes also comment about technical aspects, or the production of the video if anything such stands out to me. I am not trying to delve into meanings, I only want to share my initial thoughts and explain how I think they achieved things and why, in my personal opinion, they work or don't work.
I give honest but always respectful feedback and would never trash talk or hate on any group/artist/filmmaker/song/etc., if my comments come off like I am, that is not my intention. This is all for fun and education's sake so please don't take it too seriously. 😊

OMG finally!!!! I've been waiting for this one! I love how you break the MV down almost from one frame to the next. The song is awesome and contagiously happy. 😁 I'm impressed by the burst (and the absence) of colors in this new MV, but I gotta agree with you that visually, All Night is still superior! 🤌 Thank you for sharing your thoughts and knowledge about videography, and also for supporting Astro! 😊

Thanks for your thoughtful and Astro-loving comments on this MV. The song is special to Astro and to the fans because Eunwoo has top-billing on the list of who wrote the lyrics and also because the whole album represents the culmination of a dream that JinJin had to collaborate on an album where all the other members contributed. All six of the songs have contributions from the members as far as lyrics and composing are concerned. I loved the scene with the flowers but I have to admit that when I first saw it, I thought Sanha was lying in a field of flowers and then he's clearly standing next to a wall of them. I don't know if I'm the only viewer who found that disconcerting, but once that happened, it has stuck in the back of my mind so I don't really enjoy that scene as much as I would like to because that feeling comes back. Don't know if that makes sense, but I think if I made the MV I'd want to know that at least some people have that experience with the way it was shot. Yes, the "exploding" suitcase was CGI and when the members watched the MV and reacted to it, they kept pausing on it, trying to figure out what the items were. There were random items like some kind of underclothes, a game controller, a hammer, etc. I didn't really see the battery as "futuristic" so much as I saw it as symbolic, like the glowing outline was showing us something that was there but isn't really visible to the eye, like showing an "aura" or something. I'm with you in not getting why they used a couple of the sets because they were minimalistic and I'm not a fan of some of the colors. The set with the fans has made quite a few people comment on the fans. I don't know what they were going for, although I have noticed that there is a part in the dance where the members kind of "windmill" their arms(don't know the dance term for that move, lol) and maybe the fans are supposed to suggest how "refreshing" Astro and the song is? Part of the promotions of the album/song is that Astro is going to help cool down the hot summer. But I found the fans a bit distracting. I don't like it when there are things in an MV that make me get off into thinking "What does that mean? Why did that happen? What is that?" You are like a lot of us, who found this retro vibe and the concept bringing back emotions because the whole album is a tribute in a way to the bond the members have with each other and with their fans, so it is a sentimental album. Oh, and Eunwoo is missing from the shot where you see the faces of the five other members because he is lying on the floor, looking up, and that's how he sees their faces--above him and looking down, waiting for him to join them. As for the beach in the MV, I've heard that it is the same beach that their "Breathless" MV was filmed on five years ago, so it is definitely a nod to Astro's history as a group.
The thing with the flower field is very interesting. I don't know if I kept it in but I also first thought he was lying down, but the revelation that he's standing didn't really bother me. Really interesting that it evokes such a negative feeling for you.
If I'm thinking of the same dance move with the "windmill" move, I think it's them using their arms like a clock as to show the time turning to midnight, but the fans suggesting them being refreshing makes sense. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 😊
@@reaKtpop I'm a retired psychiatrist, so I thought about why that bothers me, and I guess it felt kind of "trippy" to me the first go round and I don't like "trippy" things like optical illusions, lol. I'm 60 and maybe it also is just that the adjustment in my vision to when it seems to go from lying down to standing there feels like actual "movement" to my brain! I agree, they are using their arms as a clock but at least one time in that scene it goes really fast as opposed to the scenes where they are standing there making that motion. I'm "old school" and don't know how to do time stamps(I'll have to ask one of my children,lol) but I set this link to start just before what I was talking about. They do that vertical sweeping clock motion really fast and then do some horizontal motions, and to me, it comes across as them making a breeze with their arm movements.ua-cam.com/video/qOt4NPfvLPQ/v-deo.html Whatever their intention, they really are refreshing and cool(except when every single one of them decides to emote their hotness--ha ha.)
