Change your hoses, thermostat and coolant, keep the oil level full, and check your engine weekly and your chances of overheating your vehicle are very slim. Shut it down immediately if it is running hot.
If it starts to run hot we get some speed up, put it in neutral, turn it off and let it roll for a minute or 2. By that time the car will cool a little. Start it, get it back up to some decent speed in about 30 seconds and repeat 😅😅😅.

The owner absolutely knows nothing about cars, my 13” Screams when the engine is hot, “Engine hot A.C off” , Or “Engine hot idle engine” , it once got so hot, the oil light came on So I performed an oil change. These 3.6s sure do not seem as durable as the 4.7s they replaced. The 4.7 isn't the best thing I've ever seen but they normally, even in an overheat, the bottom end survived an overheat if stopped in time perfectly fine. I've had the heads on several of those with dropped seats completely repaired from overheat and if done correctly have a perfectly good engine. Both those don't hold a candle to the engines of the 90s, I ran a 318 Dodge with blue cylinder walls over 15K miles before I got tired of feeding it oil.

This video is a little old, so I don’t remember. But the cost of the engine varies. We always go for lowest mileage and We always quote a gold warranty if it’s used. Engine was probably over $2k Also have to fix original point of failure if any. Did you factor in labor for oil cooler? Also I’m not sure what my labor rate was at that time but it isn’t $125. Hasn’t been for a long time. I’ve had to make adjustments to accommodate for the rising cost of doing business. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching my videos 👨🏽🔧🩺

My brother didn’t want to get the floor mats dirty. I’m 💀
that engine is gone, I can tell it has a tight bearing from the way it cranks, they drove it until it stopped, it may be worth fixing with used car prices so high but I would not do it for that customer, better to buy it for the salvage value, fix it up, Shon will sell it
13 hour job is 3k damn that's expensive.
Trust issues and cost for customers
Just want to say i watch all ur videos an love them an love ya content but i did the math an the price ya said for the motor an laber how did ya come up with 5200$ im only asking so i no how shops price jobs cause 125$ is ur laber rate an 1750$ for the motor comes out less then 3400$ with the oil cooler it would be bout 3700$ an even useing the best oil an coolant would still be under 4000$ unless the taxes are 1200$ im alittle loss
Some people don't need cars a beautiful truck was ran down

Go a head and rub your hands on the tires. That is what you always said.
anyone that has a Chrysler 200 can expect something catastrophic to happen.
I would just junk the car and buy a beater and save for a new one
Putting a floor mat down on a filthy disgusting car? Thats class, but good lord i wish people would learn to take care of their vehicles. Cars ain't cheap. Especially if you don't maintain them properly. Take care of your vehicles people, and if you can't afford tires, dont own a car.
My father taught me to always keep a clean car. I wash my car weekly and detail it, and wax it every few months. And there's no better feeling then driving a clean car
Basically a roughly $300 parts and labor cost them 5k+. 🤦🏽♂️
Basically…. Could have saved them tons
@@AlexTheCarDoctor yep could've been driving away instead of possibly towed.
At 100.000 miles a car needs maintenance it not a “new” car
You know that was a true story lol
@12:50 😂
If you can't afford a Jeep... don't buy one.
Neglectful owner
