I am waiting for Papyrus Oud, I love Gucci Pour Homme as much as you do !! Do you know when it is gonna be released on their website to buy ?
Mateusz Olech Mateusz, thanks for taking the time to write. I’ve contacted the brand and they’ve said that the scent should appear properly on their site at the beginning of 2019. However, it seems you can already buy it by “ordering a random perfume in 100 ml” and then leaving “a comment saying he [ie you] would like to receive the Papyrus instead of the random scent.” Those are the brand’s words. Hope this helps 😊
Persolaise Perfumes Thank you very much for answer 😄
Proszę bardzo.
Persolaise Perfumes haha very nice ! 😄
😉
Have you tried any of the fragrances from Christophe Laudamiel's new(ish) line, The Zoo? Turin gave some of them high marks!
Briezy Fragrance No, I haven’t. But I’m aware of the brand and I’d like to discover its wares.
Thanks for the comment 😊
How is haute province and Chypre mojo

Thanks for watching.
I had no idea I could enjoy listening to a perfume review as much as I just did until I discovered this video. Thank you. A bit late to the game, as they say, but I'm off to order some Parle Moi De Parfums discovery sets!
Gosh, thanks very much indeed. And enjoy the samples.
Oh no you never talk rubbish!! I really enjoy and love how passionate you talk about perfumes, respecting their history of origin, the brands, notes and noses behind. I learn so much in the most fun way! But Maybe I shoud stop watching for now, my wishlist grows and grows and grows. Totally white sounds so wunderful!
That’s very, very kind 🙏 And yes, I know: there’s lots of *expensive* temptation out there.
@@Persolaise just ordered a discovery set yesterday 😅
Oops! Sorry 😐 🤣
I share your excitement about this brand. I've only tried one scent (papyrus oud) and it was love at first sight
That’s probably the best one.
Thank you for watching.
Have you smelt vet over 46 from Lelabo? If so how would you compare that to papyrus oud?
I haven’t smelt it for a long time, I’m afraid.
Regarding the names, I thought of the Woody Woodpecker cartoons, too. lol I really enjoyed the few I tried from the line and want to try them all. Totally White is so gorgeous! You perfectly described its beauty, which is why I love your reviews and content.
(Writing down "Papyrus Oud")
That's so kind, thank you. And thanks for watching.
I'm off to look for Woody Woodpecker on the Tube...
I also know of two very ambery masculine scents in the designers category that are not too bad either, I would even consider tham wearable :
- Guerlain l'Homme idéal cologne (citrus + amber)
- Prada l'homme (iris + amber)
Yes, I quite like the Guerlain too.
Thanks so much for watching :-)
I just received the discovery set and I thought I remembered your having mentioned this line, so o looked it up (missed this episode). My first pick was Totally White. Wow. Exquisitely beautiful, pure, and ethereal. I think I will have to get a full bottle.
Richard Potter It really is quite beautiful, isn’t it. And so well named. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment 😊
Completely agree with your remark of there being way too much amberwoods in modern masculines. It's a catastrophe actually.
Yup, very depressing. You'd think at least a few brands would be brave enough to try something different.
You're my hero! Thanks to this review, and as a long time fan of Michel Almairac and his Gucci pour Homme I blind ordered Papyrus Oud and I'm so glad I did! It's indeed Gucci Pour Homme with a touch of oud added. And it lasts longer also. I am enjoying this very much and I will be sampling the other ones also from this line. Thank you!
Eric Phew, I’m so relieved! And delighted that you like the scent. Thanks very much indeed for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.
Very nice episode and interview with the owner of Parle Moi De Parfum . Thank you Ruth
Thank YOU for watching.
I love Lily of the valley. My favourite is a vintage from Italy Sergio Soldano atelier noir have you tried it ?
No, I don't think I have. Sounds intriguing.
@@Persolaise get it cheap online fabulous 80s 👌
Have you tried Mile High?
I believe I reviewed it on Persolaise.com, or perhaps even here on this channel.
Michel Almairac... I was over the moon when I found out about Parle Moi de Parfum. I thought Une Tonne de Roses was a safe bet for me and yet it took me 8ml and two months to decide how much I actually adore it. However, the reason for leaving a comment was different. Having only recently come across your blog and youtube channel, and subsequently finding out that Le Snob: Parfum was out of print, I wondered - would it be an idea to bring it back? Happy to write to the publisher.
Thanks very much for this.
I’m afraid I don’t think there’s any chance of my book being re-printed. It was always intended to be a single-print edition. But thanks for mentioning it.
@@Persolaise Happy to report that, by a wonderful fluke, I got your book after all. I crossed Oxford Street, place a usually avoid at all costs, and decided to check out Lush. I ended up buying my first Lush perfume but more importantly, I got your book! There were a few books displayed at the perfume counter including one, slightly bashed around, copy of Le Snob.
@@tamperer Oh wow, how wonderful that the last copy should go to you, Johanna. I'm so pleased.
I've got to ask: which of their perfumes did you buy?
@@Persolaise Thank you. Yes, I m pleased too. Not sure how I feel about my perfume choice thought, beyond amusement perhaps, which isn't bad and all if it was totally my doing. I was on my way to finally buy 10ml of En Passant that day. What I bought at Lush couldn't be further from Giacobetti's fleeting creation. Although, no, I think there is a shared quality to both fragrances - apt names! I bought Lord of Misrule. I couldn't get enough of it the first day, I couldn't go near it yesterday. The jury is out.
At least it wasn’t Lord Of Goathorn!
