Vanadium is a high carbon steel alloy used extensively for tool production . I apply RTV silicone to the knuckles of the universal adapter . I am definitely disappointed not Japanese Made !
I recently bought some stuff from olsa because I was curious and when I got them the said chrome vanadium on them no where on the tool does it say olsa guess they pulled the wool over my eyes
Hey CP. I got the HRH2-SW 72 tooth 1/4" swivel composite handle in last night. I does say Vessel on it but no part number or C.V. I'm a little disappointed in the back drag and the lack of no country of origin mentioned. Are the Swivel head ratchets plagued with higher back drag than the pear shaped ratchets typically? Swivel first timer here.
@@CPthetooladdict that's what I thought. I have always used a wobbly. I just got done rebuilding a Holley 4 barrel double pumper. That goes on 1970 international truck
I seen a video that UA-cam @chris fix come out with his own rachet 3 piece set. Just thought I would tell u about it. A different you tuber was doing a review how I found out.
I honestly expected to be much more interested in this than I turned out to be. The biggest issue I have with this set is the stubby driver handle, In my opinion driver handles are useless There's absolutely no good reason not to go with a spinner handle that has a female drive in the handle, spinner handles are so much more versatile and useful than a plain driver handle.

Woooooo CP! I just use shrink tubing on my swivels, less sticky and lasts longer
