"Open Up" is a song recorded by British electronic duo Leftfield featuring John Lydon (of the Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd).
It was released as a single on 1 November 1993.
The single reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart, number one on the UK Dance Chart and number 39 in both Australia and New Zealand.
NME reported in their 18 September 1993 issue, "This is the record that people have always wanted Lydon to do."

I was 14 years old in 1993 and when I heard that song, it changed me forever. Then it was Marusha, Westbam, RMB, Hooligan, Cosmic Baby and many more. I became a RAVEr, and it's lasted to this day. When people listen to Anarchy in the UK and claim Lydon can't sing, I refer them to this video. He made a stylistic choice in Anarchy to fry the F out of his vocals, but in reality he can sing, and sing well.
