I do not use this charging pad as it fails to produce sufficient wattage into its charging coils. However I do use the Zens Liberty 16 coil glass edition device and most of the time I do leave the Q3 on the charging pad, with the camera's LED light showing steady Green. i.e. Indicating that the Leica's battery is fully charged. I have not suffered any ill effects from this. However, as an interesting note, the Q3 never switches off its Bluetooth connection, even with the camera powered off. Take the Q3 and pop it on a table and leave it powered off. Open the FOTOS App on your phone and connect to the camera. That's magic right? Well it does mean when the camera is all snug in your favourite camera bag, that the battery is always being slightly used. Here's the rub, the camera remains switched ON fully until you disconnect it from the App. I must assume that Leica have done this to enable fast and reliable connection between the camera and the App, but it is at the expense of your battery charge. Ironically, when the camera is on a wireless charger, the start-up fails to connect.
The native union and made for Leica chargers are hopeless. So many times have I picked up my Q3 and found it was not charged. You gave to place it so precisely on the matt that one MM out and it will not charge.
This video was not about the Native Union device, so I’m not sure why you bothered to comment? However what I would say, is that providing the Q3 was placed correctly, that the Native Union variations, would charge the camera properly. This isn’t difficult; place the camera backwards, so you can see the Q3’s charging LED. Green means it’s correct, Red means it’s offset and not quite right and distinguished means it completely off piste.
Can You Leave the Leica all the time on the Charger, Even if the Battery is already Full?
Greetings from Germany :)

What a shame
@@SneakyCaleb It is a shame, it seemed like the Choetech might be an inexpensive and elegant solution, but it’s not suitable for the Leica Q3
