I was close to giving up after 2 weeks cause I thought I didn’t see any results, but today I looked in the mirror and I do see a difference. It really does creep up on ya! Do not give up! Even if it doesn’t show at first, your body is becoming healthier and stronger and that’s all that matters. You will see a physical difference soon so keep pushing! I liked how you counted and how you put reminders on the screen 3 was my fastest but I liked when it dropped down to 2 what’s the incline supposed to be? I like how you broke it up between warm up hard easy pattern and that you kept it short. Your work out was a good start for me thanks .

Walking on the treadmill is usually tedious and boring, but not with you! You make it go quickly and keep things positive. Now that I found this video, I think I could do this regularly! Thanks for posting stuff for beginners and inspiring confidence in me!
I love this workout! I am obese, old and out of shape, but with a few modifications I have been doing this 3x a week for about 8 weeks. I have been adjusting the walking speeds to work with my short legs and out of shape body. Instead of 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 for the interval speeds, I started out at 2.5, 2.8, and 3.0. As I get better I have upped the speeds. I am now at 2.8, 3.1, and 3.4. Any faster than that and I'm jogging. I'm definitely not ready for that yet! I have always walked at an incline of 3 but have worked my way up to 5. I figure this makes up a little for not doing the higher speeds. Sydney is very encouraging through the whole video and keeps you motivated to make it to the finish!

I just got a treadmill and did this immediately after setting it up. I’m 69 and was delighted to find the whole workout fairly easy! I did it one and a half times. I had an incline but no idea what because I haven’t worked that out yet! It didn’t feel at all boring because of the variety of speeds. I’m pretty fit from UA-cam workouts and daily yoga. I did certainly sweat though 🥵
and people please remember never hold on to rails only if you actually need them like if your unbalanced because your holding all your weight back and it is like 60% less effective. and i would recommend incline all the way it doubles the effectiveness of the workout 👍
Just beginning, again. I just got back on my treadmill again 3 days ago. I am doing three 20 minute workouts that are spaced about 15 minutes apart, with speed being 3.4 MPH and the incline ranging from 2 percent to 4 percent. I am trying to get back on to a regular scheduled. But it's a good start for a 64 year old. Before I was doing 51 miles per week. So that was 8.5 miles a day, 6 days a week. But then I took a break. A BIG mistake that was.
Warming up with no incline 2 for 30 secs Speed - 2.5 then 30 sec Then 3 speed. Then drop to 2 speed For 10 secs Then 3.5 speed for 30 secs Then 2speed for 30 secs Then 4 speed for 15 secs Then 2 speed again Repeat 🔁
I watch you bc I'm a beginner and I been using mine two times a day for five minutes I noticed my third time I got up to 7 1/2 minutes so getting better. And I'm coming from 280 lb trying to get back down to 155 even 160
Omg this kicked my ass. I finally found a beginner's treadmill workout that's perfect for me. I'm not at all active yet my treadmill has been sitting collecting dust for a long time. I watched your video first to see if I could do this and it looked easy but man was I wrong. The first two intervals were surprisingly easy enough for an obese person like me to do then the third really got me. I had to lightly jog at 4.0mph. I felt so much better and I really was proud of myself. I plan to stick with this everyday until I can challenge myself. Thank you again!

I did this last night on my new sft7917 at the highest rate of 2.6. I was still in my work clothes. I was not comfortable. I absolutely loved the music and trainer. She is flawless. This is the best investment I’ve made in my life
Just found this great video today! I started walking outside last week and decided to use my treadmill today because the heat is too much for me. I will be using this video daily! Definitely reminded me that I'm a beginner😅. Hopefully this with my new eating habits will help me achieve my goal to lose 60lbs!

20 minutes is a good amount of time. Some peeps like to go an hour or longer. I’ve done it in the past. But now my feet be hurting if I go beyond 20 minutes.
Great workout I haven’t done this in a few months. But it felt good to do for my active rest day today. I did it twice! I first did it with no incline all the way through. The second time around I did the entire video at a incline of 2.0

I just received my new Sunny treadmill a couple of weeks ago. I'm doing this workout regularly. I really like it. I have a fixed incline of 4% on my model. I feel stronger and able to push my endurance. I need to hold the rails, but let go for longer periods at the slower speeds. I stay at 3.5 for now. I know that will change the more I workout. She is a good instructor and doesn't call me peloton!!

I'm confused by the complexity of these workouts. Why is breaking a session into twenty or so tiny segments of 30-60 seconds each better than a simple warm-up to exertion to cool-down regimen? (Senior citizen, male; I own the SF-T7917)
The purpose of interval training is to work at a higher intensity/heart rate than you could for the entirety of the workout at steady state. This format of exercise will allow you to increase your overall fitness so you can increase your speed and workout harder and longer during steady-state workouts.

Bought my first ever treadmill for home. Got the SFT7515 from Marketplace. Best purchase ever. Just finished my first day after six months of inactivity. At 60+ I cannot afford to be inactive. It helps my cardiovascular system as well as my brain as new studies show that physical activity can help in preventing Alzheimer’s. Thank you for making it look so easy

@@SunnyHealthFitness I remembered that my mom had some machine oil so now I can really start using my tredmill. It needed to be oiled and I couldn't use it at a slow enough speed for me. 😅 So out of shape.
Hi ya I've been following u and doing Ur all workouts. But it states specifically on some of Ur videos that the row machine and incline workout is for weight loss. So are these all videos who doesn't say weight loss on it. Are they not effective enough in weight loss?
Any activity or exercise with any equipment that burns calories can lead to weight loss. Diet and rest are also very important. Row machines use a significant portion of your body and do work great for people trying to lose weight.

We recommend taking this workout as slow as you need to. We all start somewhere. If needed, please feel free to adjust your speed. The intervals are designed to be a push, so whatever feels like a push to you today, try that out!

Hi, although hers may be going faster, we recommend going at speeds that you are comfortable with. It takes time to get master a running workout but keep it up!
Just an update I have been doing this since the end of March slowly increasing speeds as it became easier. I do this 4 times to reach one hour at different intervals. Although I have not lost pounds on the scale I have lost inches. Thanks again for this great one!
@@SunnyHealthFitness An update after doing this for this for 2 months I received FitBit for my birthday and 2 weeks after an Aria Air Weight scale whereby I realized I have actually lost 10 pounds. Please thank Everyone there again who contributed to the making of this episode. To Sydney who suggested changing up the lesson as our needs changed, thank you. I repeat this 5 - 6 times for 5 days a week adjusting speeds as I go. My success is partly yours for doing such a positive encouraging video for beginners. Stronger every day!

I actually bought my treadmill from you guys the other day and I just had someone come out and install it for me so I'm very new here

My tredmill is crap and doesn't have an incline function. I can't even hold at 2. So I'll work up to that first. So out of shape.

@@SunnyHealthFitness I remembered that my mom had some machine oil so now I can really start using my tredmill. It needed to be oiled and I couldn't use it at a slow enough speed for me. 😅 So out of shape.

Hi ya I've been following u and doing Ur all workouts. But it states specifically on some of Ur videos that the row machine and incline workout is for weight loss. So are these all videos who doesn't say weight loss on it. Are they not effective enough in weight loss?
Any activity or exercise with any equipment that burns calories can lead to weight loss. Diet and rest are also very important. Row machines use a significant portion of your body and do work great for people trying to lose weight.

I am a beginner treadmill walker..how to start off easily..
We recommend taking this workout as slow as you need to. We all start somewhere. If needed, please feel free to adjust your speed. The intervals are designed to be a push, so whatever feels like a push to you today, try that out!

Hi, although hers may be going faster, we recommend going at speeds that you are comfortable with. It takes time to get master a running workout but keep it up!
Just an update I have been doing this since the end of March slowly increasing speeds as it became easier. I do this 4 times to reach one hour at different intervals. Although I have not lost pounds on the scale I have lost inches. Thanks again for this great one!

@@SunnyHealthFitness An update after doing this for this for 2 months I received FitBit for my birthday and 2 weeks after an Aria Air Weight scale whereby I realized I have actually lost 10 pounds. Please thank Everyone there again who contributed to the making of this episode. To Sydney who suggested changing up the lesson as our needs changed, thank you. I repeat this 5 - 6 times for 5 days a week adjusting speeds as I go. My success is partly yours for doing such a positive encouraging video for beginners. Stronger every day!
@@SunnyHealthFitness 12.2 kg or 26 lbs lost now from doing this set (6 times) each day to 10,000 steps a day. I keep adjusting speeds as suggested and it works.
