Loving this series, started watching some of the early ones again. I think there may be an issue with the Tobacco Delivery in the New World. It looks like your discarding tobacco at the ports where you're picking it up. I could see this at Manola when you drop it off if you had items relying on the tobacco farms working but discarding it where you're picking it up doesn't make sense to me.
Since you're going to have gold ore brought to Lusk again eventually to make Gold Bars, you can also setup the Jewelry there since they will take the same input with the items you have / are making Also keep up the good work, love the series and I look fw to each episode Also gotta love the Grapes route fix only to later screw it up again xD
My plan at the moment is to stream in May with a proper schedule, multiple times per week. The reason for this "delay" to it, is because I have friends coming over to the UK from the US in about 10 days, and they'll be here for 10ish days. This would be a disruption to any schedule straight away, so things will "start" properly once they leave!
Since you have production on different islands and doing the pick up routes to move the goods to your New World "hub", then moving it to the Old World hub, and then distributing it to different islands in the Old World/Cape Trelawney, is there a logistical risk of one of the islands the product finally gets distributed to not getting enough supply? Or is it that as long as you globally produce (even slightly) more than your population needs, the number of trade routes it goes through before being finally delivered is irrelevant?
Yeah as long as you’re overproducing something, then eventually the routes take care of themselves, however with a very long route that takes a long time, you need more ships. If I make 10 X per minute and consume 5 X per minute, and I deliver 300 (a full ship) at a time, as long as my journey doesnt take longer than 60minutes it will be ok. (300/5) I dont actually work this out each time, I just generally know if I make more of something then eventually itll get distributed and if it doesnt, then add more ships.
