Awesome video! I loved the step-by-step instructions via the links. It made it easy to follow. I struggled a little bit because I use a Google Pixel 5 and it's marked as not compatible but all I had to do was add the amiibo files to a USB drive and plug that into my phone, save to downloads and boom, it worked!

Great tutorial thanks!!! I used NFC tags from amazon and the Android instructions. The only trouble I had is that the app would crash every time I tried to load a tag. To fix this I went into settings and turned off Enable Amiibo File Browser. It means I have to do a little more searching for the Amiibo I want, but everything else works great!

Awesome video!!! This can also be used to "restore" or fix problems with NFC cards if done correctly! I was able to fix a Snake NFC card in a 94 pc set that could not be used & gave the error "This is not an amiibo" when read on Wii U/3DS/Switch.

hi! im having a problem.
when i try to rewrite a tag using tagmo, it tells me to use the restore tag button. I do that it and it looks to have loaded the new data on the tag, but when I scan the same NFC tag again to check to make sure the new data is on there, the old data comes up.
how do I rewrite tags?
I think there are tags which are not rewritable but I am not sure ...try looking into which tags you have

I have the tagmo app and downloaded the unlocked and secret non files but when I try to import them into tagmo I can see them but they are greyed out and I can’t click on them. Anyone help pls?

My phone is not on the list but it still worked. Xiaomi 11T. Also i didnt need to download any Amibo files. The app itselfe has like 884 different amibos i just had to put in the game i want them for. In Short i payed 5.54€ for 50 of thoose really nice.

No you nee thw 215 nfc because that is the same one as the amibo's

I found that if you go into the settings and turn off Enable Amiibo File Browser the app will stop crashing.
I need some help, I got everything installed without a hitch, and my phones are nfc compatible, (Moto g stylus and moto g9 play) but it says that neither are detecting nfc compatibility. Is there a permission I need to give it other than just file access? Or is it that my nfc detector thingamajig is broken? Or am I missing something entirely different 😅
Create a Folder for you Amiibos and Select it and it is important for the NFC tag to be N215

No that’s not possible. Once you put data on a card it can’t be removed.

If by sticker you mean the amiibo figures then yes, you can use cards instead

Unfortunately paper wont cut it, you need any type of NFC card, so you can either go out and buy "blank NFC cards" or use like an old starbucks card etc. just be sure not to overwrite some important card like a credit card

You cant. once there's an amiibo on the chip it basically cant be rewritten

No it doesn't work like that. As far as they know it's a real amiibo which is why it even works. If they could tell the difference then it wouldn't let you use it as an amiibo. As long as you aren't making and selling them then there is no issue

im probably a bit late but do chips work insted of cards?
some of them, if you follow the steps directly it should work unless its a bound/encrypted chip, in that case you wouldn't be able to override the data already on the chip. id try the chips if you have them but probably don't buy one incase its not one that works, (sorry im not aware of the specifications on how to buy one)

You might have the wrong type of nfc card for Nintendo stuff, I believe the one that works is called nfc-215
Shame. My phone doesn't qualify for this method.
