Finally bought my fzs v3 Matt blue, excellent built quality, good normal performance, great ride quality, road presence is great, if anyone think of buying Fzs v3 don't hesitate just go for it.💪💪💪💓💓💓...
From sides it is perfect, but when you sit on it and actually ride it, the new design is too fat. Tooo Fat. 150cc bike that is the size of a 300cc bike without any power.
Being an owner of apache rtr 200 having dual channel abs i feel so cheated. Dino did a similar breaking test for apache rtr 200 dual channel abs and it came to a stop in 2.5s from 64km/hr. Considering this FZS havine a single channel abs comes to a stop in 1.9s from 65 km/hr. An expensive lesson but thats fine. Lesson i learnt is that dont bother to shell out extra bucks but always go with international brands(preferably japanese). Had huge respect on TVS but hey what matters is the rider's safety and yamaha's single channel abs is better than TVS's dual channel abs. For those of you who feel its just a difference of 0.6 s , what matters is the distance you cover in that 0.6 s. A crash can completly be avoided in that 0.6 s.
Remember that many riders slam rear break more often , in a single channel abs the rear skids and chances are the crash will be even worse , single channel abs is as good as having a non abs breaks
Yes bro..you are right..we should have patriotism when neighbour causes harm to us..but yamaha gives the best product here.. so its not good to show patriotism in this aspects .
Riding this bike for two days.... Wonderful looks, engine is smooth and no noise at all, braking is superb, comfortable seats and riding posture. Wonderful bike for daily commuter.
I believe Yamaha has clearly explained to the expectation of the Indian customers towards the performance and the concept intended while designing the FZ25's engine. Words from Yamaha India website -(The FZ25 mounts a 249cc air-cooled 4-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, fuel-injected engine. Based on a reliable 250cc single-cylinder engine proven on sport bikes for the Japanese market, the FZ25's engine has been fine-tuned and optimized for the Indian traffic, primarily in the intake/exhaust system and the ignition system. The 74 × 58 mm bore × stroke, hemispherical combustion chamber and 9.8:1 compression ratio give this engine its maximum power output at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque at 6,000 rpm). I hope it applies to the FZS-FI V3 too..... If somebody expects more power, than they should opt for other series of bikes from the Yamaha stable.
@Useless Guy konsi 200cc bike se heavy hai? Splendor+? And didn't you see the bike before buying that you started hating it's looks after buying? Its is the shitiest bike in it's segment.
@Useless Guy hota hai. What happens is when you have been waiting to get a bike for a long time and then you suddenly get the resources or the situation becomes right for you, at that time it is difficult for us to wait. To hume jo bike pasand hai wo agar available na ho to hum compromise krke doosri bike le lete hain. But wo chota sa compromise hume dheere dheere khalne lgta hai. It has happened with me also that too twice. First mein duke 390 lene gya tha but that wasn't available so i had to settle with RC 390. Then I started realizing my mistake. And the second time I was planning to buy apache 160 4v fi but the fi was not available and dual disk was not available in black color. So then i settled with NS 160. But fortunately for me NS 160 is better than most bikes in its segment. So "Patience is a Virtue" specially when you are investing a lot of money. Ride safe!
Hornet has better performance and better mileage bro. though it lacks in things like Engine kill switch. Dino bhai himself is speaking about the mediocre performance of this version V3 too. Initially i was in doubt but now confirmed. I dont get the logic for paying 1lakh+ rupees on a bike which has just a smooth engine. The taller gearing of Hornet is awesome and its better all-rounder in city and in Highways too(when compared with FZ). In my opinion there's no that much need for FI for a bike which ptoduces 13. 3 bhp. Carb is more than enough. Only - ve Hornet has is its pricing. Else its better than FZ anyday and its sales volumes speaks. When we take value for money proposition both FZ and Hornet(slightly better) fail to the core. Theres much more better products.. New Pulsar 180, Apache RTR160 4V, even we get Pulsar 220 and NS200 if we add few more bucks 😁😁😁 The news is FZ is going to change in BS6 model with engine upgrade. Until then there's no much improvement from V2.
Yes,, Waiting for FZ 25 complete review. Want to know if new version resolve old fz25 issues like low headlight visibility and exhaust rusting and others.
The matte black version looks quite stunning. And the weight is still an advantage. But I'd still go with the rtr 160 4v considering the overall power advantage and now the price seems more or less the same even with the expected hike for abs for the rtr. Thanks for the review dino.
Hi I was planning to buy a Suzuki Gixxer ABS model and I personally admire that bike, But with the introduction of this bike I'm little bit confused to buy that, because it gets ABS along with Fuel Injection. Look wise the FZ 3.0 didn't impress me at all. Can you suggest me which is the better bike to buy? Also could you please do a comparison video with Suzuki Gixxer ABS and FZ 3.0? Thanks for that.
Gixxer is a great bike but only for iNitial phase.. after a long run when it requires maintenance then it becomes headache mostly because of Suzuki's poor service network and spare parts availability. Go for yamaha or honda. Fz will give you a soothing riding experience provided the fact that Yamaha engine is more durable and long lasting hence trouble free..
Even i had the same confusion.. Whether to go for fz or gixxer.. I ordered gixxer sf fi.. I think fz v3 looks ugly with too much of cosmetics (my point of view). Gixxer has better power, mileage, looks compared to fz. Only cons with gixxer is pillion seat and headlamp.. I think we can modify the above as per our needs.. Finally if you like naked for fz, if faired go for gixxer sf fi... My friend is having a gixxer sf which is 3 years old. If your not a aggressive rider u wont hav to worry about maintanence.
I had the Fz v2.0 and now have the Gixxer ABS. If you do not like how the v3.0 looks, don't buy it. Looks do matter. But let me keep that aside. FZ will feel underpowered, I have owned it for 1 n half years. No match in terms of refinement and comfort, but underpowered for sure. So if you plan to stay within 70 to 80 kmph, FZ might be good but that design repels me too. Gixxer on the other hand offers nice power and torque but is not comfortable for the pillion. Some guys may say that they have done 115 kph on Fz, yes possible, but you will run out of road. Honda Hornet is nice but once you ride FZ or Gixxer, you won't like Hornet...it doesn't feel modern when you ride it. Go for the Gixxer but do have a look at the service centre because unlike Yamaha or Honda, Suzuki has not built shiny multistoreyed showrooms and SVCs everywhere.
I am using FZ v1 from 4years now guy dont buy this bike because the engine is old same dont get me wrong engine is reliable but there is no power like what other 160cc bike offer today with better mileage i am getting 32kmpl i suggest go for Suzuki Gixxer SF FI you wont regret.....
New engine is more improved bro.. Gixxer SF FI is highly over priced for some plastic clothes.. its a good bike no doubt but not value for money and after sales service is poor..
Gixxer gives 55 kpl. And such a good bike so comfortable. But still Yamaha always Introduces best Technology first and wins first, I don't know why Suzuki always waits This is from 80's. Example : Rx 100 Vs Shogun. Shogun was best but became a failure.
FZ has every thing I want. Comfortable seats for both rider & pillion, fuel injection, abs, smooth & responsive engine but it lacks raw engine power. Gixxer has best in class ingear acceleration. It feels peppy and is fun to ride bike. But pillion comfort is VERY bad. Hornet's low end torque is very weak. You need frequent downshifts to 1st gear and that can be pretty annoying in city traffic. But it's the best in mid and high speeds. It has upright riding position and it's seat offers comfort to both rider & pillion. Choose the bike that suites you!

Got mine delivered on 31 Jan. Done 300 kms on it, ride quality is more smooth, more nimble to handle, better cornering, seats are more comfortable compared to V2, more safer obviously due to ABS. Looks as they say are subjective, but in my opinion looks like a beast

Hornet is around 160 cc but fz s is 150 cc oly but the top speed of hornet is 120 and fz s is 125 bcoz of the bluecore technology and fuel injection engine it's gives us a best fuel efficiency and good ride felling in midrange and however hornet comes in a carb varient oly fz s fi is good and is king of comfortness
@@mseditz5975 ya bro performance wise is also good oly in city itself its getting 45 to 50 mileage in highways 55 speed wise also it beats hornet it really gives u a best performance if u own it
I recently sold my FZ v2.0 and was an Fz fanboy. But not anymore. v2.0 looked way better. Those front air vents are useless anyway and that tank repels me. Pass switch is integrated now because it comes with LED headlamps. It definitely looks bigger but design is so screwed. The only good thing about the Fz now is that motor - underpowered but best in class refinement. But I am sure it will still have problems gaining speed beyond 80 kmph thanks to low torque and power. Not that it mattered much to me but they screwed the design.
Thanks, someone felt fz v2 has better looks than v3, seriously ppl are just going mad on v3 but in my personal opinion v2 has the best design so far in fz series.
They could have added engine oil cooling using a small radiator, apparently the FZ v2 had kinda a provision. The engine really heats up bad during long runs at 75+kmph. A radiator will improve the life and comfort drastically. Another thing is vibrations, it vibrates your spinal cord out of your body at 6k+ rpm.
Apache 160 4v is as refined as fz... Rx 135 is two stroke Broo.. I used fz for quite a time.. i know which is better bike... Apache is not like it's old versions... Its better u try both bike's... Indian manufacturers are advance as japanese rivals

@@selvakumar-kb7pk king of comfort ok but performance
@@mseditz5975 ya bro performance wise is also good oly in city itself its getting 45 to 50 mileage in highways 55 speed wise also it beats hornet it really gives u a best performance if u own it
@@selvakumar-kb7pk really😏
Again u did fantastic job u r always front in the row thanks
@@pervezkhan3114 I agree.
@@pervezkhan3114 @ me too feel same
It resembles in fz 07
They could have added engine oil cooling using a small radiator, apparently the FZ v2 had kinda a provision.
The engine really heats up bad during long runs at 75+kmph. A radiator will improve the life and comfort drastically.
Another thing is vibrations, it vibrates your spinal cord out of your body at 6k+ rpm.
Wait...that was R15 V3 ABS version, when you stopped FZ at 65 kmph
Nope
No one makes better detailed reviews than dino Bhai😍
Yamaha fzs v3 full review tamil la pannunga bro

Hi Dino,
Can you please tell me if engine is updated to BSVI
Asfahan Shaikh no
@@sprakful Thank you for the reply, much appreciated.
No still it's BS IV , a big mistake from Yamaha . By 2020 BSVI will come to effect .
No this is BS4. But by end of 2019 a more powerful FZS with BS6 compliant will be launched.
@@BloodySweetBadass Thank you for the reply
Thanks for the Fz-s review also Please do fz-25 abs review as well!
Same Old engine 😚👎
A powered engine is coming next year with bs6
@sudarshan rocks this is bs4
exactly bro, agreed, I'd prefer buying a second hand fz 2.0 in 45 k 2016 model instead of wasting 1.1 lakh
Love u dino, God bless you, love ur unbiased reviews

Indian manufacturers are advance as japanese rivals
@@avineshdhanush1319 I did try my friends RTR 160 4v it's a good bike but doesn't have good top end bro
I mean speed
If you have not ridden RX 135 just try it
Yamaha knows very well wht to give it's customer in a balanced way when it's come to engine refinement Fz always give the answer with it performance. Yes Yamaha!
FZ looks better than any other bike in its segment. It feels good to own one.
Great video, thanks bro, talking about the handle of the bike, can we adjust the HEIGHT of the handle bar? A little towards my body, so that we can avoid too much leaning forwards which is very uncomfortable for me.
Excellent Review as usual... Heard you say 3.2 couple of times.... 😂... Are you hinting at something upcoming... 👌
Great video, have been waiting for this since it’s launch.

First to like your video brother
As a mechanical engineer, I am observing from past decade every bike is coming without chain cover, I mean bikes with sporty look. Please coment on this note then only designers will design for Indian roads.
