- hi guys, just as you requested here's my feature and review of the New 2024 Yamaha FZS Version 4.0. Every detail that you need to know about this bike including price, mileage, features, specs, etc. and also my ride impression as to what makes this still one of the best commuter bikes in its price range.

I own a FZs v4 since last july. I have rode more than 9000+ kms and took it for long tours, city and highways. The bike cruises comfortable at the speed of 80-90 kmph. Till 95 the bike is comfortable but around 100 the engine feels stressed. The headlight visibility is very good. It gives a fatigue free riding experience. Easy to handle motorcycle and it gives me a consistent mileage of around 50kmpl in tight banglore traffic. On highways if you are going around the speed of 70- 80 you will easily get a mileage of around 60. It gets a lot of attention in traffic signals and gives a big bike feel. So overall a great reliable motorcycle for city use as well as touring. The issues I am facing is the seats could have been more soft and cushioned, the right side pillon footrest is just above the silencer plate, so if you are travelling with a pillion the pillion will definitely put there leg on the silencer cover plate as well and it will create scratches and paint loss at that part.
Yep. I too have been enquired about this bike and they get surprised when i tell its 150CC not 300cc like they think. Also this does 120kmph while even RTR 310 with twice the CC does only 40kmph more.
what I love about your review is the simplicity Never Ever Change :)
This one is good, but FZ-S V2 has one of the best designs in the FZ series from Yamaha ❤️
I own a fzs v4 (2023 red colour). No complaints in mileage, riding position which is really comfortable and pillion comfort. It only annoys me in the top range which is kinda expected of the engine. I wanted to buy MT but couldn't due to pillion comfort (for my mother and elder people in my family). The road presence is good too. Have been asked by people 4-5 times. Service is excellent (atleast in my area) and parts are cheaper too. Overall good experience. Gonna use this for 3-4 years and then upgrade to 300-400 cc machine. I feel this bike is a missed opportunity from Yamaha. They could have put soo much things and improved it a lot but they didn't. 🥲. It is what it is!
Edit: The monoshock is quite stiff!
I have the same bike and the rear suspension is tough 😢.. did u do anything for it?
@@shivasainathchittipolu2105 nah bro. It the same factory preloaded. It have gotten used to it now since there aren't that much bad roads in my area.
@@AnonymousKnight-ve3op is it possible to soften the Mono shock (rear)? I have the v3 and SC denied it when i asked about doing it.
@@seepranavg I have heard some youtubers and saw articles saying that it is 7 step adjustable. If your SC is denying it, try some local mechanics or maybe other SC in your town or city.
Have you done?@@AnonymousKnight-ve3op
I loved Matt Blue 💙
Sad to see FZ25 being ignored. The 250cc capacity has never really took off or sustained in India. Its either 150 or 200cc that does real numbers. Probably time for Yamaha to downsize the FZ25 a bit and start tasting success.
I somehow still like the V3 ....simple plain and elegant. So my question is that has Yamaha now tweaked the engine to make it more responsive only for version 4 or the entire range of FZ 150 range including version 3?
Only 12.4 PS of power for 150 CC motor .. Ridiculously under powered .
Mileage 50 iche bike Edhi ledhu kadha eee range looks tho
@@Utube20242
Yes Yamaha is only banking on mileage .. Fzs v4 is an Underpowered bike with just the power of a 125 CC bike ..
Reliable is the only word 15 years of trouble free service
Looks, comfort, mileage and reliability is good but power is low...after 80kmph power is flat and struggle till top ends😮 atleast 15ps is needed for this muscular looking bike😊
My pulsar 125 has 11.8 ps power😂😂😂
Racing blue looks fab
Dino sir nice sneaker. Which nike is that sir?
Yamaha was the one who benchmark this 150-160 cc segment way back!
But in this age it lost the charm. 🤦🏽♂️
Yes, charm is lost but sales is pretty decent.
81 ST LIKE SUPER FAST FANTASTIC HIIIIIII DINO SIR WHTSUP THANKS FOR YOUR VALUABLE INFORMATION KEEP IT UP 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🏍🏍🏍
I own FZS v3 (BS4) and its manageable even for my short 5.2 feet height. I like the colors and looks of this v4 more but price is also going up. Also please review this against Pulsar N150 and 125cc bike like Raider, Xtreme 125R, Pulsar 125...
very good bike, but yamaha should give heel and toe shifter to this, slightly more comfortable footpegs (slight forward).......my personal opinion
❤
Dino . Rest all is okay with your first ride and reviews.
I still dont understand why Yamaha still stuck with only 150cc with few upgrades here and there.
Why cant they upgrade FZ 25 with few extra ponies and torque. As you know new Hero Xmr is ruling the roost presently. I would have loved if yamaha could release Fz25 in a new avatar.
It's discontinued
i too agree, fz25 was a good bike with good amount of initial torque. maybe emission norms forced them to shut the model down. xmr i agree is a beautiful bike.
400cc bike would be better like Speed 400.
Hi Dino... do you really think that these FZ series after the 3rd iteration/version, do they actually look good ? the tank is abnormally built and the have reduced the power so much!
Some how even after all these years I dont like the look of this bike it never growed on me. they have really f*up the looks just like Hero did for the CBZ.
Atleast from your description, it seems the power seems to be better now.
bro i just bought cyan blue fz v3, great mileage of nearly 60 kmpl. the tank issue seems to have been addressed in the v4.0. no issue that i faced in my new bike either. but one thing that surprised me was the fzs was far more responsive right off the mark and very good initial pickup. if u want a good looking Yamaha, wait for next video - MT15 Cyber Green with Neon green wheels, beautiful color.
@@DinosVault I wanted to buy this one but could not go ahead due to the bad looks it created by that tank.. Since you said that it is comfortable, which is one of the qualities that I am looking for, I should take a look at the V4.0. I will go to the showroom. Cheers!
Hoping to meet you sometime..
@@_P.K. Consider N150, 160 too.
Then which colour variant u r looking to buy ? In FZV4@@_P.K.
Good
Post a comparison video of pulsar n150 vs fzs v4.0
Can we expect 2channel in next year bro
Anna do a video between bajaj pulsar n150 and Yamaha fz-s v4
Badly miss the FZ version 1.0
I have one. Just ran 20k kms. In brand new condition 😅
Matte blue color is my favourite sir Yamaha fzs
I hav fz v2. Bs4 It has very good power ,im recently ride fz v3 bs6,im not hpy with power
I like new white colour
Please Review the Suzuki Gixxer too
Even Suziki would have forgot that bike
*Y døn'† ü dü a milage test..!?*
Dino Bhai, is the headlamp better than Xblade?
Honda SP 160 has replaced the xblade.
Gen 1 fz was a gem proud owner still running like a horse
horse will die but not Yamaha.
Yamaha should consider discontinuing MT15 and retuning FZs engine for more power output without increase in price
Exactly like fz v1
FZ-S is muscular bike ❤❤❤❤
Very good bike ,but speed 80 ,85 only ,after bike struggle, ,
Please give fz 25 headlight design I don't need DRL headlight design ruins the looks more and more learn from NS200 headlight
Yamaha should take feedback from their customers
When they launched V3, everyone was like its underpowered and expected a few more bhp on v4 but they repeated the same story
It's surely gonna hurt their sales nos
If i am made Yamaha CEO, i will launch 250, 400 singles 500, 700 twin, 900 triple and 1000CC inline 4 and completely capture all premium market.
Bro make some vedio in Hindi also like your accent while talking in Hindi some people will also get benefitted from ur vedio in hindi
Bud kindy beeble arey bigey jelling Paani boori in Chauth.
Maybe Raider is better in performance and mileage
i have to buy 150 cc motorcycle for daily commute and for long run, which one should buy pulsar 150 dual disc or yamaha fzs?
Better go n160
Pulsar OG150/n150 or honda sp160 are vfm i guess....around 15/16k approx cheaper than fzs😮
Underpowered
Single channel abs
Fkd up console hardly visible
List goes on
Mileage yess,! Great
Edit : RTR 160 4v is far more practical tbh
N160 say hai
The front tyre should have been radial
Tamil review pannunga anna
125 cc engine on 200cc body😂
Kick is missing
Try to reduce the duration
Iam using v4 I got 53 milege
Don't like this bike... Totally underpowered...🤢
Paid review mostly, In features, power , performance Xtreme 125 and Raider 125 is way way better
😂 If you dont like something, then its paid.
Very very under power bike
.
Suzuki Gixxer 150 cc is most underrated bike in this segment
Overrated dude. Just because it doesn't sell well doesn't mean its underrated. It has issues and is over-priced. Neither Suzuki doesn't seemed to care about it at all.
Bhaiya hindi bolne me sharam ati hai 🙂
My 2004 honda unicorn was better than this bike.
I too have a 2006 Model spoke wheel Unicorn which did almost
2 Lakh kilometres..
somebody tell Yamaha it's not 2008 it's 2024 . nobody wants that under powdered bike
Yep 400ccc bikes are popular now.
😅 Basically its the same single channel old fashioned bike. Yamaha dont want to improve safety.
Underpowered and small rear tyre...looks dated and ugly
Which one do you suggest in this range
