I don’t know of any other UA-camr who is as willing (or happy) to give away their secrets to their viewers as Mr. Gurney. Another great video, thank you for sharing.
It’s like a UA-cam Mr. Roger’s. I grew up with his books. As an adult amateur painter, I gather great support it seems from watching his vids. And, no matter my age, we all love dinosaurs. Mr. Gurney, you are one of the greatest!
I really love these steampunk animations, James. Really sets channel apart and looks like it's fun to do. I'm so glad you decided to makes these behind-the-scenes videos on how to make these.
when a child soul, full of creativity, live inside an adult body capable of finding the physicals/intellectuals solutions to acheive the goal, you have an artist! like JG
Mr. Gurney, your skill and imagination never cease to amaze. I had an old graphic arts professor named Lou Brierly who, about 40 years ago, was fond of saying "I _hate_ talented people." He would have despised you. :)
Since you ran out of things to paint. Set up and pain the trash collection. It's a hard but a necessary and interesting job. Too! Dumpster diving is great fun and like treasure hunting on a budget. My great uncle worked for the city trash collection for decades and amassed all kinds of treasure. As a kid, I thought he was like King Solomon -the richest man on earth.😊
The efforts and lengths of your creativity is beyond belief. I giggled all the way through.....my husband is a tinker too, his preferred gadget making material is PVC....we call him the PVC King. Always a joy to watch and listen to you videos. LOL
This is pretty darned awesome! I’ve admired this set up at the end of lots of your videos and can say the secret to it all is a good amount of genius and a few tools. Thanks for sharing! Now, if I can only . . .
I don’t understand the thumbs down. Crazy talent and imagination. Since I started to follow you I bought every single book you did. Just amazing how much knowledge you are sharing in those books. Thank you.
What a genius! The amount of thought and craftsmanship used in this is incredible. How is it possible that there are 2 people who have hit the Unlike button?! I want to give this 2 or more Likes 😊
I've been really enjoying your videos for about a month now and was admiring that "bronze" item. Getting that patina easier said than done. Really clever. Thanks for showing us how it's all done. As you can see you're inspiring all kinds of people, all over the world. Love watching your content, infinitely more interesting than most things on TV. Keep it coming Mr Gurney. Love from Ireland 🇮🇪
0:00 I am in shock that this isn't REAL... Looking at this here... I would not have even questioned it... "WOW" I work in the Film and Theartre business and do a lot of Faux Art... This is amazing!!!!
Mr. Gurney, I have been watching your videos, paying attention to your suggestions, advice and tips and just being captivated by the wealth of creativity and information you provide. You're a true creative genius, period! It's simply amazing the many things you come up with and a joy to watch! You are a GREAT inspiration to me and to many others. Thank you sooo much for putting your talents out there for everyone to see and witness. You are doing great things! I will be watching and admiring along the way.
Hi!This is me again, your Russian subscriber who can't speak English (thank you, Yandex translator) I don't understand half of what you're saying, but the process is delaying to the point of insanity!Your work is amazing, and I won't stop repeating it!Thank you for the nice videos!
Thank you, that is just pure genius, I was amazed the same way I was as a kid when seeing someone create something, I have made things from scratch and can really appreciate the time that can go into something. I have enjoyed watching that at the end of your videos, reminds me of other things that would react to water and other natural elements :-)
I'm amazed this is done in clay! The first time I saw this I thought for sure, you had created the bronze plate in Adobe Photoshop, at least that how I would created it. This is definitely a different approach to the end product.
Just discovered you on utube and have been binging on your videos. Love your work, and must say your creativity is amazing. Reminds me of my brother. Wasn't anything he couldn't do or create!! Thank you.
You are such a genius; creative, innovative, skillful, amazing. Your art is amazing, so beautiful, so inspiring, and genius creations are superb. Lucky are those who have you around. Really glad I found your channel. You inspired me to start my amateur painting again after long time of no creativity.
I love it! An alternative to Magic Sculpt is Milliput (the one in the red packaging). Way cheaper and stronger for bigger projects. Also you can use thick styrene sheet for the frame instead of plywood. Cheaper and easier to cut and glue with standard plastic glue used for plastic modelling.
Towards the very end of the video ... mouse-traps ... huh?!? You, Sir, remind me of McGuyver; the only difference is the absence of drama in your video. I love the bronze plaque and many thanks for sharing. Much respect!
I don’t know of any other UA-camr who is as willing (or happy) to give away their secrets to their viewers as Mr. Gurney. Another great video, thank you for sharing.
He's simply the best, there's no way around that!
That is exactly what l thought. He ‘gives’ all. What a guy!

Things like this truly shows the power of practical effects. Wonderfully done.
Nothing better than the old school mechanics, the nuts and bolts of creation and imagination. Fantastic!!!
