I remember when my kids were this little. I was so overwhelmed and tired all the time. I sadly remember thinking how I can't wait until they get older. But now I look back at old baby pictures and just know I didn't love on them enough. I didn't take the time to slow down. Always on a schedule, always doing something other than just sitting with them, playing with them. I wish I could go back and do more of it with them because 10&8 is the new 15. 😢 For all the mommies with young kids, cherish it. It truly does go by so fast. ❤
2 under 2 is not easy! Days will be good, some days you’ll feel like the world is crumbling down girl. You got this, I promise you GOT THIS! My kids are 13 months apart, it was not easy! But they are now 6&7 and doing amazing.
Oh yes that what I just told Maya ! It okay to yelled it out for a good walk or cried . I forgot what that call it but it doesn’t mean your sad, we just get exhausted as moms . We are the keys to our family we pay attention to every intricate detail. ❤ relax breath and let it out and repeat with a smile
I don't usually comment but best believe that when your videos come up, I am ready to learn from you. Maya, the way you spoke to Genesis while feeding Ezra...it warmed my heart. You have really shown a healthy and loving motherhood, sourced from having our Lord in the center and admitting the need for counsel and help. You are so loving! I give birth in April and My First born will be 1 on christmas eve. I been depressed all day and sick. Trying to keep up with everything and chores around the house while pregnant is a struggle for me. Your video is giving me hope that I can do this. 🙏🙏🙏. You are Amazing ❤️❤️
Maya you are doing great!! 2 under two and being a wife is not easy. Take all the time the mental breaks you need and accept help. My pride wouldn’t let me accept help and I suffered tremendously. Amen ! We as mommy are so hard times because we think we have to have all together and we really don’t 😊. We are just doing our best ❤that why we need to encourage one another ! Yes called for help , Javughen is a great friend father and husband. They won’t do it up to our standards but they are willing and that what matters ❤. It hard especially when they are little but make sure that we have to squeeze in time in the marriage because it a three leg deal (God marriage and family) ❤
Girl I use to cry in the shower after I got my baby down to sleep I felt so overwhelmed like I was starving all day long just didn't eat ,mostly I ate chips 💀 but now he's one years old I feel like I've gotten better w learning him it's easy

I know and can relate so well on how those toddler tantrums can work your nerves but cherish those moments because one day you will look up and both kids will be then grew up and out the house with their friends, and you will miss these moments with your children.
Whew girl 2 under 2 is quite the journey but from experience, when you look back , it feels like the years went by too fast! My guys are now 13 and 14 and it feels like just yesterday I was balancing one child per hip 😅 you got this Maya!

I feel Genesis was upset when your baby boy was nursing and was signing “eat” bc she knows he eats at your breast 🥺 so she was wanting that connection with you since there’s a new baby getting your attention and not only her anymore. Awww she’ll adjust over time. She’s having a hard time adjusting to not being the only baby anymore right now. And being tired definitelyyyyy elevates that vulnerability lol. You’re doing amazing Maya. You’ve matured even more since Ezra has arrived 🥰 I also feel like Ezra will start looking more like you soon!

As a mother of now, three “young adult men “ #boymom that are 2 years apart, I remember when I had 2 under 2 with one on the way and Lord knows it was hard. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the words to identify what I was going through at that time which was postpartum depression and was not courageous as you to share the mental challenges I was experiencing at that time. However with the strength, wisdom and grace of God, I overcame🙌🏾. Keep kneeling at the feet of the Father, for HE shall continue to equip and pour into His daughter. 🙏🏾💜
Whew the way this vlog helped me so much mentally! I always say I’m having a hard time adjusting to motherhood and my baby will be one this month, I have to stop speaking negative over myself! This vlog helped me so much I can’t explain it it just did, can we have more DITL with a toddler and newborn, family DILT and also seeing your husband’s POV (a DILT with a newborn and toddler or just toddler). When you said no matter what you have to get through it, and you’d rather do it with a smile rather than do it upset something clicked in my head and I almost cried 😭 I notice with my toddler I get overwhelmed/upset rather quickly and feel guilty afterwards. But seeing you do it with 2 under 2 girl you are AMAZING! I respect you so much ❤️

I’m about to have my second baby girl here next week and my first baby is turning 12 months old literally 7 days after her sissy is born. As I’m watching this video, I’m realizing how being a mother is so empowering. I have a 16 month old and we are having our baby girl in March of 2024 and I’m trying to muster up the courage of being able to trust myself and my husband to get through this 2 under 2. I’m so scared, but I know that I’ll make it through. Thank you for posting this! It truly helps give me faith to be able to move through this season.
Take it easy so you dont get burned out especially as a new mom of 2 under 2. Some days will be easy and some days challenging. I have 2 under 2 and loved it. God bless with your beautiful babies

I remember when my daughter was born and my nephew was 1.5 years I never wanted him to feel left out and I made time the same way you do girl. We did learning and the most random fun things. It's a journey but God has blessed you with 2 kids for a purpose mamas ❤️
Ways you can always try to get out is to a fam or close friends house for an hour just got change of scenery. I did that at my grandma's and it was a nice change. You are doing amazing in every aspect and be proud girl.

You are doing amazing, the way you stayed calm when Gena was having her moment and you did the deep breathing until she calmed down. She will start to associate the two and will start using that to self soothe herself.

I’m so proud of you maya your doing such a amazing job being a mother is hard especially a young mother, and just having one child is a lot so I can only imagine how it is having two under 2 but give yourself grace you got this, I had to learn how to give myself grace because I was becoming overwhelmed and was getting ready to give up on me and child but thank god I kept my faith and learned that god got me and motherhood is not going to always be easy. Us mothers are amazing ❤❤❤
