Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure which came out in 2018 third-person shooter video game developed by Rockstar Studios and published by Rockstar Games.

I wouldn't even say it's ahead of it's time as there was nothing massively new, it's just mad detailed. My favourite game of all time, I can't get enough of it. Rockstar never disappoint.

It being released in 2018 is crazy....feels like a game we would have in the next 15 years. The upgrade from rdr1 to rdr2 is great

It's crazy how Arthur and other NPC's raise their voices when they are further away from each other. I noticed that during the 1st mission in the game. I don't think that's ever been done before.

Incredible game, just played more recently for shits and giggles. I randomly run across 2 rams in the wild and they head butt each other when I approach them trying to assert dominance. I sat there for a min saying w t f? This game is ridiculous. When a game makes you talk to yourself and question things 5 years after its release, you know it is an amazing game.
Having lived in North Texas and Oklahoma, bison lying down is what we call a DUST BATH. They need it to dislodge the insects that get into their pelts. The reason why Tommy can't speak normally is because Arthur (in self-defense, it should be noted) gave him brain damage and turned him 'simple' to use the language at the time. Seriously, it would have been kinder just to shoot Tommy, so the first chance I got, I did - I was doing him a favor.
This game had a 540 million budget and I can tell they used 95% on it on story mode. And it's a shame that GTA 5 didn't have as much detail and that most of its budget was put into GTA Online. Because the GTA 5 Story is very poor. But it's also a shame that Rockstar abandoned Red Dead Online...the idea of being outlaws with your friends was really cool. But Rockstar put all their money into GTA Online and stopped giving us great story games like they used to.

I was playing and when I brought the camera closer to Arthur's face I could see the reflection of the water and grass in front of me, obviously it was a simple reflection but I could see a blue part (water) and a green part with brown (grass and earth) , it was the most impressive detail I saw in this game.

This game is a marvel and it cannot be compared with any other, nor with gta 6 even though they are open worlds but very different in their environments. I just hope Rockstar does a great job with this next installment

Hands down the greatest game to date. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of absolutely amazing games out today.
But Red Dead 2 is just on another level and is in a league of its own!
It’s stands on its own and even after 5 years since it’s release it’s still the most impressive game! It’s the only game I truly wonder “HOW TF DID THEY ACHIEVE THIS!?” The layers and layers of systems that all work in unison to seemingly create this natural feeling and totally realistic open world game! The details and details and tiny moments you experience is unmatched! The game feels ALIVE! The world feels ALIVE! It’s as if Rockstar thought of everything. I’ve played through the story 6 times and I’ve just started another play through recently. What’s crazy is every single time I play this game. I always have a moment or experience something that amazes me.
If Rockstar can create a game of this caliber almost 10 years ago, and which was released 5 years ago…
Peeps. I don’t think we’re ready for GTA6. I have a feeling that will be the only game to finally top this game. And I have a feeling what Rockstar is gonna give us with GTA6 is gonna be another monumental moment in gaming history.
Rockstar really outdid themselves with this game, they didn’t even have make the flag have 45 stars, like who would be looking at the flags…but they still did it, god i love red dead 3:15

Best game ever, yet rockstar abandoned all the online players to work on GTA6. What’s going to happen when they make the next red dead? Are we supposed to just forget what they did? Do they really think we will just run to get the next Red dead knowing they will just throw us to the curb, for the next GTA?

RDR2 is a great tech demo and that's about it. As for being a game they've taken something that could be good and made it terrible with one policy. People who play the game to completion i.e. gold medallist trophy hunters are unfairly punished by 20 minutes of unskippable travelling/dialogue every time they die. This means that most of the hours gamers spend to complete this thing are actually riding around on horseback and repeating dialogue numerous times instead of actually playing the game. If I don't go for the platinum I feel unfulfilled but if I do I waste most of my time repeating dialogue.

-Npc accuracy is fking wild like hesdshotting me from the other side of van horn even thought there running and just waving their hands to shoot
-Npcs faster at shooting then THE FKIN MAIN CHARACTER
-Recticle sway and bloom/ camera shake and don't backup by saying keep your cores full or something
-bad cover system in a fking cover shooter based game
-npcs are bullet sponges
-weak guns(the cattleman is one of the strongest revolvers but rockstar decided to make it the weakest
etc. etc.
And that's just combat
