The intended method involves 2 precise jumps as well as a third less precise jump each iteration and all 3 jump much have a particular timing and messing up a jump always means failure. With the 'cheese' method you still have 2 precise jumps, but no 3rd jump each iteration, except you could take your time on each jump and sometimes a failed jump didnt result in death
You don't have to prove anything to Us Ryu. Numbers are numbers but talent is talent. We have learned that you just get allsorts of levels in this game, half of them trolly. Your talent combined with your passion and dedication to deliver smiles per minute for this greatest of gaming series is virtually 2nd to none that's for sure.
Personally, I choose to believe that Ryu was born with a fully formed, perfectly groomed beard, and attempts to shave it resulted both in it regrowing and the discarded beard forming a body, leading to the birth of Nigel Kahr, Ryumpkin Jack, and Ryu Claus before his parents stopped trying. That's my headcanon and I'm sticking to it.
You know Poo’s first 1000 level expert no skip run ended on 600-something, then on his third (second was whatevers) he made it (but then ended on 1616). He should have waited for December 1st when the North America database resets. Basically, when you start a run, Nintendo's servers give your console a hash code that correlates to 1000 levels. These levels are based on the current popularity and clears on the morning you start the run, so as you exhaust them, they get gradually worse and harder. The idea behind this is simply to avoid you getting a level over again within the "maximum" number of levels Nintendo estimated for the average player (somewhere between 952 and 986 depending on source) rounded up to a factor of 100 (i.e.; 1000). So if he would have waited until December 1st, he could have got a refresh of the hash code entirely because by not doing this run at all in November, Nintendo's servers would see his hash code as an outdated October code, not cleaned it up as usual and replaced it entirely, thus resetting his provided levels to a place as if he was just starting the run entirely.
