I bought the nisi UV filter for my black X100V after watching your video. It matches so well with the camera, no noticeable effect in image quality so far and if it makes it water resistant for light rain shooting then I’m fully satisfied.
Great wee video, I have pimped my x100v with the nisi uv filter and have the filter pro system on order! Also added a metal L plate grip to accommodate my clumsy hands, no fear of dropping it now! Being here in New Zealand we are lucky not to be in lockdown so i cant wait till get the filters and go our and take some shots!
Great to hear! Ahh yes, I think you folks definitely took a better approach at the start of the pandemic - I follow Chris Turner’s channel who’s a wedding photographer in NZ too and it’s barely affected the industry over there at all! I’d be interested to hear what you think of the added grip, it’s something I’ve been considering too 🤓
@@FamauMedia I love the grip, well made and it allows me to attach other bits to it like lights and mic. I have a black 100v and it compliments it really well 😊
@@FamauMedia yep, www.ulanzi.com/products/metal-l-plate-for-fujifilm-x100v Highly recommend it, i was so impressed with the build quality and cheap as chips 👍
Great, thanks! Comments with links go straight into the "held for review" section, so I've only just noticed. Sold my iMac this week so I may just treat myself...
I'm using this kit for the Ricoh GR 3 and the x100v. I've bought a circular polariser to use in place of the supplied non circular as it's not always compatible when using with grad filters. Also I got a 10 stop circular because I can, although there's a limit to how many circular filters you can attach for obvious reasons, you can always frame for cropping. Excellent kit, shame nisi don't include a circular polariser instead 🤷🏻♂️
@@FamauMedia I use give filters as the price and performance is good, I pay the extra for the better version gobe filter. Yeah I attach the circular filter first then the adaptor, I'll check and Instagram you if you have an account there
Thank you for putting the video onto the UA-cam. I have been using the same NiSi UV filter since I acquired the X100v in July of 2020. I have my eyes on the “professional NiSi nd kit” for some time, and I just ordered the kit after I watched your video today. I am a totally newbie to long exposure photography and wouldn’t know what to do with it after I received it except the installation appeared to be straight forward. Are you doing a video showing the long exposure photo taking process in the near future.
You're welcome Steve - I plan on making an actual review video at some point, it's been tricky with constantly changing lockdown rules and pretty rubbish weather conditions though. In terms of how filters work/how to use them, this video from Nate in the Wild does a very good job of explaining things: ua-cam.com/video/01izBPT2Kb4/v-deo.html
Thanks for all your Fuji advice Ben, I’ll sub too as interested to watch your landscape stuff too.
Baby filters, looks top notch!

Great to hear Robin! I’ve had mine out in the rain and had no issues at all 🤓
Can i use this filter kit for mobile phones ?

Nice, clear video. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
That’s a great little kit. Price is on point too.
I’m really impressed so far!

I'd wondered about adding a circular polariser! Which one did you go for? And do you stack it along with the filter kit?

Since there is a built-in 4-stop ND filter, will adding this ND filter make it technically a 7-stop?
Yep - check out my full review for comparison 👊
Nice. But the polariser filter in combination with the grad filter makes no sense. Does it?
You don't have to use both at the same time 🤷♂️
@@FamauMedia I was wondering the same as Menno. Can you not polarise a scene and use the grad filter simultaneously?

It’s a cool set! Can’t wait to get out properly with them
