Nice video sir! I just left SoCal for good. But my friend out here in St Louis just purchased that same bike. I've ridden it a few times & its a blast! I'm going to have her watch your video. I didn't think too much about it being an automatic but you are correct, to safely manage them corners you want it to down shift before the corner. This allows more rubber on the pavement & suspension compression so you don't go wide. I'm going to be taking her out on some long curvy roads out here & that be a good place to practice. She's a rainbow chasing rider also!
whew! thanks for watching and recommending! and congratulations for leaving socal! not many people are brave enough to take that leap! but i'm sure you're a thousand times happier! and i'm assuming the roads are less dense and more fun to rip around on?
@smithlongworth7389 The roads are more sweeping & in some places, yes, less congested. The scenery, though.. so nice. I forget what a desert SoCal is until you leave it. Cheers, young man! 👍
Teslas automatically brake when you get off the throttle with the regenerative braking. You have to “learn” how to coast with your foot on the pedal. To outsiders looks like you’re constantly on the brakes but you’re just getting off the throttle.
Nice video dude, I have the same bike in the same color, let me know if you want to ride around the Los Angeles area this Sunday I’m heading up to Ojai👌😉
the gate looked open but there were signs saying parts of the mountain were closed off. i'm not sure what that's about. the goal is to ride all the way to wrightwood soon and hopefully all the roads are open.

The faster you go, the less you see.
gotta slow it down
Awesome video brother, what mic setup do you use?
this was actually just the gopro capturing the sounds. i just have a wind muff for the gopro to reduce wind noise.

siiick! i won't be available this sunday but i'll definitely hit you up next time i'm available. keep me posted!
I ❤ the CMX 1100 /Rebell. I wish i could cost in Neuttal but the DCT is not build that way. I know the why and is best to downshift.
i need to ride out of the city to appreciate this bike.
How do you like the DCT downshifting?
i love it! it's almost too easy to operate this bike especially with the "paddle shifters".
It’s still closed at Red Box, right?

It’s pretty wild that the Honda does 35 mph in sixth. Good for fuel mileage, but I’d be paddle shifting nonstop.
the more i ride the bike the more i'm comfortable riding in Sport mode just to get the power ready
