I've spent a lot of time watching Wawrinka's backhand and the difference between Pablo's is that Wawrinka doesn't initially take it back so far. He has it pretty close to his body and the racquet is pointing straight up and then he goes into the drop and bringing it back. Both have a full followthrough. Harry didn't look like he was bringing the racquet head up high enough. Pablo's backhand is like Gasquet's, Shapovalov's and Federer's on the takeback. Tsitsipas is like Wawrinka. I modeled mine on Wawrinka's as I've just watched it more but I haven't seen an actual discussion on the merits of both arpproaches.
Well at least someone is trying to help him, I am sure all the coaches have, but a 1hbh is the only way to go, tennis today has become feminine, baseline robots, artificial rackets and strings, and especially the 2HBH, almost everyone is using a liability called the 2hbh, it's easy to establish, much much much easier than a 1hbh, hence why everyone is using a 2hbh, but it's a wimp version of a BH, I hope he sticks to the lesson, no tennis stroke should take longer to perfect than a few days, otherwise something is wrong.
I don't think Coach Pablo taught you his backhand. He taught you a beginner's backhand. Maybe he thought you are not ready for the advanced version or maybe it's too advanced for the audience. Whatever reason, you will not have as much topspin or racket head speed as his. Specifically, if you look at his power position, his racket is much higher than yours and the handle is angled away from his body. In the modern one-hander, you have to have a significant drop and a large racket path. What he showed you towards the end is a very simplified version without much drop and a reduced path that produces a flatter shot. You just release the racket around your ribs as opposed to shoulder height. I have tried both ways and getting that drop is critical to getting more power and topspin. Also critical is the transfer of weight from rear to front and some drop on your leading shoulder at the power position.
Hey. I think you should checkout the tennis brand snauwaert. They make just as much as all the top brands and I love yheir products as well as think they are very underrated and not very known to the tennis community.
Mannn, Pablo's points were soooo concise. Loved it!

Stan has extreme power in his upper body. He makes it look so easy to generate all that speed and spin

Στο τέλος μπορεί να υπάρχει μόνο ένα
Harry sounds tired after 4 backhands. Don’t push him too hard buddy.
