  • Truly an awesome trail that even regulars of the area seem to often overlook. Include this trail in a ride with Milk Creek, this one, Hereford Meadows, then down Quartz Mountain. The area at the top of the trail is Moon Rocks and Funny Rocks and again, a place many have missed. The Rocks area is an amazing and strange place for rock crawling jeeps and hard enduro.
Thanks Katoom and Cougbike for a fun weekend.

Assuming most of this is covered in snow now but can’t wait to ride it. Thanks for the trail work and sharing this, new to WA so looking for a few good trails to check out.

You've wound up in the right place. There's great year round riding here, and the Mountains from the Oregon Border up to Canada have a long list of great trail systems, most of which I have covered on my channel.

That is a nice lake. Get out on a float tube, and u could catch 100 fish in a day. Mostly Brook trout. Great eating fish.
The hair pin corners going downhill, tend to get me. Up hill i have no issues.

You guys earn the Sawyers merit badge. Nice job! Great to see the Coug out again.

Absolutely, Coug really did some work, we must have chopped out 10 logs on that relative short trail. I was a bit worried about his knee...he'd said we were just going dual sporting...ha...

Thanks for the clearing. My buddy and I run that same route in reverse from Milk pond to riders camp. last year was a pain because we didn't have saw's and had to lift our bike over some of those and around the others. Was planning on clearing it this spring, hopefully won't be as bad from this winter, but not counting on it.

Thanks for leaving the comments on , I find it frustrating when people turn them off.
My kids and I were at Mad lake the weekend you made this video, this ride is next on our list !!

I actually just posted a video where I turned the comments off. It's my last video, it deals with a dangerous ride that wound up with injury and mayhem. I turned the comments off so it wouldn't get littered with insults, derogatory comments, told you so, and unsolicited advice. Sadly, social media and very pervasive in the moto side of things, that kind of thing happens. I do get the occassional stupid/inappropriate comment on my comment boards. When I do, I quickly delete and then ban that person from my channel. Works well, as I have very little of that problem. Meanwhile, I had a very unpleasant history with a few local chat groups where I've had to go so far as to sternly request said Karen to STFUOE

The chainsaw mount on the Beta....seems like it works good....is it a diy or a brand name? Thanks for clearing!!

Great video. Love that you have your camera angle looking forward, instead of slightly down. Do you have any recommendations for a dual sport rider that has just switched to full dirt bikes?

Nice. Make sure you clear 3-4ft either side of trail to avoid broken feet when things over grow years ahead. There’s a rule somewhere.

I got one of those broken feet, rock at 20 mph hidden by sidehil ivy. Ouch... Few years ago, still feel it.
