I sold my 50 1.2 and replaced it with the 1.4. You are spot on when you mentioned clients not noticing a difference.
Same plus it’s smaller and that’s what in wanted. I’m hoping the 85 won’t be huge

Maybe you have to dial in the focal length in the stabilization menu, to avoid this wobbly video footage. Some third-party lenses aren't getting recognized by the camera, so you have to tell them which focal length you are using. Thank you Magic for another year of super informative content. Your are truly a (one of a few) GOAT ❤

@@MagicWeddingPhotographer aaw, nice to hear :) guess what: on my A7IV the automatic focal length detection was turned off by default and my footage was all over the place. As I upgraded to the A7IV from the a6400 (which had no IBIS at all) I thought: "So this is the top notch stabilization everyone is talking about?" - fortunately, a couple weeks later I stumbled across this setting. 😅
