There actually is a small bus service run by the city fir years now. Its stops at places like TLU, walmart, downtown seguin, library and a few others. Runs every day and its inexpensive. They are a few job opportunities with the city also and since the making of this video there have been dozens of new businesses opened.
Seguin has a lot of businesses popping up so therefore there is going to be a lot more shopping and restaurants coming soon to Seguin which means lot more jobs as well. You must have made this video back like 5 or 6 years ago because you clearly have not been to Seguin. I live there as of now and pretty much have my entire life since again is growing. Not as fast as other areas but businesses are popping up that never been here before and lots of jobs are coming over here.
Thank you for the content Matt! How's the snake population in the area, the venomous type? I lived in the Mojave Desert for 8 years and the wife isn't a big fan of them lol.
They're in the area but really only out in nature. Rattlesnakes, Water Moccasins, Coral Snakes. But They're not likely to be seen on a normal basis at all
Huge population of venomous/pit vipers on our property. We have an acute awareness where we place our hands and feet at all times. Grateful we don't have small children to protect against the snakes. All of our animals receive veterinarian precautionary vaccinations to mitigate the physical ramifications should they be struck.
No it don’t , I just checked on indeed for seguin no jobs showed up under the location seguin. No jobs in seguin that’s what people need to know before moving.
Just because it doesn't show up on indeed, it doesn't mean Seguin doesn't have a lots of jobs. They do and there are more businesses popping up which is creating more jobs. I live in Seguin and I lived here all my life so I know what I'm talking about.
There are lots of places that are hiring in Seguin that aren't even on indeed. Trust me, I lived there. I know what I'm talking about. Seguin has a lot more jobs than people realize. I know people who live in New Braunfels and drive to Seguin for work.
Public transportation is a factor considered in most reviews such as this. Lack of this resource is detrimental for many individuals who, for whatever reason, have no access to independent mobility.

Lots of low paying jobs when compared to nationwide averages.
Lack of public transport is not a con for all.

If you can fit in with the people, you will like living in Seguin. I commute to Seguin for work, I would not ever live here.
there isn't no pros here I live here
Austin is cheaper, sir.
