You do a great job never give up never surrender.
Thank you Tommy and thank you for subscribing
Good video and nice job
Have a nice day
Thank you!
That is hard work, you have my appreciation for sharing your work and its results.
Thank you. I enjoy sharing, hopefully it helps someone out there
👍🏻❤️
Love my mz48 with a 23 horse Kawasaki
I've removed my discharge chutes. It allows the grass more room to get thrown from under the deck. But my Huskies got to work every time.
I leave it on because sometimes I like it down so it gets the dust just a little bit further away. I know it’s not much but every little bit helps.
Definitely got your work cut out for you! Good job!
Oh yeah it’ll be fun and it will look a lot better when we are done with it.
Dude that husqy put in some work, good ol reliable
It impressed me for sure. Thanks for watching
Nice job! I have a MZT52 with the 22hp kawasaki motor, mow 3 acres every week. Love it!
They are great Machines
That's some thick stuff!
Yeah it was!
You might want to check out Something to look cat's video involving Kavili blades for overgrown areas.
Will do. Thanks
it might be time to put a winch on the truck, so you can reach out to 'unstuck' a mower with out stucking the truck
You have no idea how many times I’ve said I was going to get one. Lol
I live about 60 miles from in La., & have been cutting glass for customers for about 7 years. You are taking a beating on your machine. You should look into a suspension seat from Seat Warehouse, it will help save your back.
Man that’s no lie. I been wanting to look into one just haven’t found a place yet. Thanks for the recommendation
@@Dhutto I like to lower my tires air pressure when I'm getting beat up like that. Make them soft but you don't want to break the bead and end up flat.
I’ll have to try that
You want to stay away from those yards if you can. Be there done that. It is not worth it in the long run. It really puts alot of pressure on the deck belt. When you get your bussiness bigger. You will want to stay away from that kind of yard. But did a good job.
But it’s so much fun lol. Yeah I don’t do them often.
We do so many of these kind of cleanups it isn't funny. And what you see here is child's play compared to some of the stuff I've put our mowers through. We've had places where the grass was higher than the zero turn and we get through em ok. If you can find a good method to do the job without damaging people or equipment the profits can be huge. We've pulled over $600 for an hour's worth of work on cleanups before so it's easy money if you have the right tools and experience
I dont WANT to do lawns like this, but when asked to, I throw crazy numbers at them, and sometimes they stick, so you just keep saying no....lol
I can’t say no lol. I like turning junk into something nice
What size motor does that husqvarna have..im wanting to buy the Z554L professional commercial. It's got the 27hp kawasaki. Hoping it can get the job done. Thanks for the video
Mine has the 23hp Kohler with a 52inch deck
@@Dhutto man thank you for getting back to me..I didn't know if u would or not cause all the comments were a year old. I appreciate it..do u think the one im looking at with the 54 inch with tje 27 kawasaki will do alright. Im trying to get the most information I can before I make that much of an investment
As long as you keep sharp blades on it. I’ve switched to scag and I wish I would’ve paid the extra money in the beginning. It really is that much better
@@Dhutto what does your scag have on it and if u don't mind me asking what is the price rang on it. The Z554L is around 9600 but is the step below than the biggest one husqvarna makes. I've got a MZ54 with a 25 Kohler on it rn and I've got to have a bigger mower for what I do..and the Z554L is 3 steps up from the one I have. Like I said I want to get the most info I can before I go full throttle. Thanks
I have the 60 inch vride2 with the 29hp Kohler. I paid 8800 for it. It’s was on sale
That looked fun. I wonder what they usually mowed this lawn with?
He has a John Deere lawn mower. It rain a lot here late last year and wasn’t able to get to it.
@@Dhutto oh, well hopefully he keeps up what u did. Ps good job👍plus u motivated me to mow my lawn.
209Control he will. He is actually a really good friend of mine. That’s great mowing the lawn is relaxing to me. Thanks for watching.
Try zero lift or flat blades on these jobs...you will be surprised...they are hard to find, so I just make my own...flat spring steel (or better), simply drill the appropriate sized hole and bevel to sharp from center to tip...they walk through shit like this...
I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for the advice!
thestcroixkid also called sand blades. And you are correct. I used them until I got my tractor and bush hog
Copperhead blades are a very low lift blade and they do work well for stuff like this
I’ll have to look into those
You need to ware ear protection. If you don't it will effect you later in life.
If you look close I have the iso tunes pro in. I never cut without them. Also I already have hearing loss from Iraq. Gotta protect what I have left
How do you go about figuring out a price for some over grown grass like this? How much do you charge for this?
Great question and if you ask 100 lawn care guys they will give you 100 answers. The way I do it is I look at the lawn and estimate as though it wasn’t overgrown. Once I get that number I times it by however many time I think I will have to go over it. Then add a little on top for the extra wear on my equipment. So if I would cut a yard for $60 and I’m going to have to triple cut it then it’s $180 for just the cut. Then I add whatever I feel is right to that.
@@Dhutto awesome great price 🤙
Cut it higher..then pass it again then make it lower..
Man that was some bad stuff. Sounded like a chainsaw in the background. Calling a wrecker wrecks the profit 😢.
Luckily I knew a good tow company so it wasn’t bad. Also it’s a business write off.
If you can mow every 2 weeks only way I would take on a job like this ... without charging a very high price...
That’s why I charge a high price.
What engine u have
I run the Kohler.
Não minha opinião o MZ tem um desempenho melhor do que o PZ
I’m not sure what that says. Sorry
@@Dhutto Hello Friend! I'm from Brazil, I'm sorry for not writing in English. I meant that in my opinion the MZ series performs better than the PZ series
It’s all good.
pathetic, thats not overgrown
Sorry to say doesn't even come close to what Something 2 lookat on youtube is cutting with those Kavli Blades!!!!!!!!
Don’t be sorry that guy puts that scag to work lol
@@Dhutto You can do the same . Why would you spend double or tripple the time out there when you don't have to and they will leave a fine mulch.Just think of all the time and money on gas they will save you is what I am saying.
I’m down to try them. You know where I can get them for a husqvarna
@@Dhutto they are on the internet look them up
