Bose had an update, and the connection issues are basically solved for me with the QC Ultra Earbuds. Love to see how the One Plus stack up against the Bose - my favorites.
The update did fix it mostly. They need to fix the random restart of the earbuds when you play audio of any kind. Update: It's just my Motorola phone, Motorola needs to fix their software and especially Bluetooth when it is literally unusable! Every five seconds and in any condition, glitches after glitch after glitch. Motorola needs to fix their phones that have "Bluetooth".
something I've noticed reviews haven't mentioned at all would be the additional $20 removed from the price of these buds when ordered through the OnePlus Store app. i was able to do it on my z flip 6 and only spent $129.99.
Out of interest when you said "not perfect but impressive for the price" about the sound quality - what are you comparing them to? I've tested Sony XM1000wf5, newest sennheiser momentum, and Bose quetcomfort ultra - and pro 3s definitely have more resolution (at least with LHDC) and more clarity and separation than all of those. I do agree they are bass heavy but overall they've got a really nice tuning where highs and mids don't actually get overpowered by lows, besides if you set the bass wave to -2 or -3 they can actually sound quite bright. Lows are also very dynamic and don't sound muddy at all. I've seen people say Airpods Pro 2 sound better but I've got both and I'm sorry but those people are delusional given the Airpods don't even support high Res audio per se. The only other wireless earbuds I've tried that have similar or better resolution are astel & kern UW100 and hifiman svanar but those don't have anything good about them apart from the sound and their massive cases make them unusable in daily commute at least for me. Overall these are absolutely the best wireless earbuds if you want great sound, portability, and ANC imo.
Bought these today and was blown away. Coming from user of a Sony Linkbuds S TWS and Westone UM3x wired, the oneplus buds pro 3 brought my music alive across all levels of lows mids and highs. At a decent price too! You get great value from these as compared to the other big brands. Only downside imo is that they are not foam eartip (Sony and SednaEarfit) friendly as the case do not close with the thicker foam tips on them. I used the original Sony Linkbuds S extra small silicon tips on them and they are able to close, but not for any size greater than SS.
@@theendofthebeginningoftheend It's good to see a satisfied OnePlus Buds Pro 3 user who switched from Sony headphones. My Linkbuds S are no longer suitable for use after 2years (78 hours of play time). The battery level in the right earbud drops very quickly and Sony is not doing anything to solve that issue. @@theendofthebeginningoftheend Hey, I am currently using the Linkbuds S and looking to upgrade to the OP Buds Pro 3. What are the more noticeable "upgrades" have you noticed compared with the Linkbuds? Is noise cancelling better or worse?
Thank you for the clear and concise write up! Sound opinion. Getting these after wrestling against deciding between these, Elite 10 Gen 2 and CQ Ultra.
Sorry if i’m wrong but i saw some other reviewers mentioning these having wireless charging but you have to charge it from the front of the case apparently.
Like a few others have mentioned, with coupon and introduction pricing, you night be able to get them for $129. For that price, they're a no brainer. The noise cancellation is at least as good as my Sony to XM4's, less ear canal fatigue, and really nice sound quality. I have a Pixel 7 Pro, and bluntly, pairing anything over BT is sometimes is a real hassle. These were the easiest to pair I've ever had. The biggest downside is mediocre documentation and app that want initially intuitive to use. But by comparison to the Sony app, I'll take the Hey Melody app every time.

Good question. These mics seem to block more ambient sounds but the Galaxy Buds sound more natural. For ANC, I think these appear to be more powerful at first, but the Galaxy Buds are a bit cleaner with one exception. That exception is at low volumes. If you are in a quiet room, the GB3 Pro have some static sounds that bother me if I am not playing music
@@MikeOBrienMediaOn the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are not in the list you displayed, and so according to you, in view of your previous comment, the ranking in terms of ANC, is, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, OnePlus Buds 3 Pro and in 3rd position Airpod Pro 2 🤔
