I understand the original intention of this being a safety bandaid but this is really a clever product for any light with the right bezel diameter. I find on moonlight in a tent it’s nearly perfect. And the glow reminds you of where to reach to turn it back on. Thanks for the vid, nice to see it used the way I like to use it.
Nice! Yes, I overlooked diffusers for a while but so glad I tried them. Perfect camp accessory in my opinion. I actually ordered a few more in different sizes for other lights too.
This diffusers were given by Olight for the Warrior Mini. The original Warrior Mini had no sensor and it could burn your pockets. It was a big fuss as far I remember. I kept my original Warrior Mini.
Nice, it’s cool that you have the original Warrior Mini. Those things are rare now. Glad Olight made improvements and safely enhancements on the WM2. I haven’t felt too concerned with it in my pocket this week at camp. I still use the lockout mode to be extra safe though.
The WM1 is still my favourite of the 3
These fit better on the first warrior mini and was put out as a fix for the pocket burn. I am interested in seeing how this fits on the new WM3 since the head is smaller now.
I just tried it on the WM3 and it fits really well 👍
That was an interesting quirk with the sensor. Could you disable the sensor before or after installing the diffuser?
Good question. I haven’t looked into how to do this yet but I believe there is a way. Disabling the sensor would probably also allow the turbo mode to be used with the diffuser as well, I imagine.
@@PardonMyEnglish Hopefully it doesn't melt the diffuser. lol
On a completely different note... do you ever use the Carabiner-Style ring on the Warrior Mini 2?
Haha, yes indeed! I probably won’t be disabling the sensor on my light. I figure it’s there for good reason. Under normal circumstances the diffuser doesn’t make contact with the lens but I still wouldn’t want to risk it, personally.
I haven’t had this light for long but I haven’t used the carabiner-style ring yet. I may use this to clip the light to the loop at the top of a tent in the future.
