I miss this great and wonderful entertainer and human being so much. OMG! What a talent. David you are missed so much. It isn't fair. You should still be with us entertaining us. Love and miss you so much.
Enjoyed this! Thank you, so much, for sharing! (Saw David & Danny at The Bayou in Georgetown (D.C.) & David at Hershey Park during this tour. Still memories that I cherish!)
Oh my. I am 55 years old, but him singing Cherish here made me want to crawl all over him! And those leather pants..... RIP David Cassidy. You are missed & loved way more then you will ever know know. 💖😭
"judy collins" (You are not the Judy Collins, "I've Looked At Life From All Sides Now" are you?) but anyway, Danny Bonaduce was indeed a wayward person and it might be that Danny Bonaduce 's ways rubbed off on David and that is how David went on a downward spiral in the last years of his life.
Danny and David were very good friends over the years since they met on the partridge Family. He did bring him on to open for him with his comedy act. But David had his own demons. David often said Danny bonaducci was misunderstood and kind of a jerk but he still was a good friend.
He's more mature and confident in this concert. The music is mellow and not rushed. Unlike the Royal Albert hall concert in '85. I enjoyed this Chicago concert more. Although his voice is solid in both concerts. Miss you David.🌹
oh yes how I really really remember David Cassidy and The Partridge family grew up watching it had a big Crush always on him he was very good and talented good actor and a great singer may he rest in peace I'll never forget him God bless him
I don't know what size or type of venue this is, but I really love how intimate it feels and how at home all the musicians seem to feel. It's so much more raw and spontaneous than later concerts, less produced, less slick. It's terrific.
I attended this concert and seating is approximately 400. Best DC show ever and I have been to 7 of his concerts. 3 in 1972, then Sept 91 at Park West Hotel. I agree his concerts post Las Vegas became more of a production and slick. I think a carryover from his LV shows. I was truly blessed to be at this concert.
@@eileneshimi6215 Ahh, Eilene, thank you very much for sharing this. I'm so happy for you that you got to see this. Yes, blessed indeed. 💗 And how incredible that you were able to compare this one to some of his earliest, and then, not sure, but maybe later ones? It's great to hear that my impression of this concert from this great, but pretty rough tape, seems to be accurate. I can hardly imagine having been there.
@@nspector You are welome! I saw David in concert post his Las Vegas career in 2001 and 2002. Small venues but slick productions. He was still quite talented but I feel he lost his authenticity to what he had in 91. Thank God for who taped the PWH concert! Always will cherish this!!!
@@eileneshimi6215 Wow, that's an amazing range of experience you had seeing him perform. I was born in '67 and was only six😳when I fell for him, so never saw him in concert. I'm just recently looking back at this childhood crush....I hadn't thought about him much and barely followed him in all these intervening years. You may have found this already, but this unaired film from the Today Show in 1993, though more polished than this show for sure, and without quite this authenticity, as you put it, shows him more relaxed and playful, more spontaneous, and just...I don't know, happier than any clip I've found except this PWH one: ua-cam.com/video/mRXsJSEarFE/v-deo.html

Definitely brothers ❣️
@@obscurelyvague No.... David had addictions of his own... Certainly not DB fault...

Not fair. They cut off "I woke up in love this morning." 😒
💟🎤💞👍👏
I bet that 1 girl couldn't talk when she got home (or the next day), because of screaming so much. 😲
Did you happen to see him in the 70s? This is nothing compared to the volume when I saw him at the Garden in 72
My goodness ,hot 41y/0 David💙 Cassidy💜. Yum-o-liscious.
Must have been grand to have been at this concert.
It's nice that you could take your gay friend, but he needed to chill. 😂
I would have made him move... he is quite annoying
